Boss Fight Studios 1/12 and EPIC HACKS

I pre ordered 2 of these BFS Conan's so I could display them both ways, and I pre ordered 1 Belit. They look really good to me, so I'll give them a shot.

Now I need to buy a Red Sonja from BFS, and I still need to grab a Shuma Gorath Marvel Legends.

I keep thinking of pre ordering that Battle of Black Stone Conan from Heroic Signatures. But I know nothing about that company. Do their figures hold up well? Do they make things of good quality?
 
When I ordered the Legenderry Sonja off BFS they charged me immediately. Shes paid for with no concrete date. So I preordered the 2 Conan figures from BBTS. I can't shill out a $130 right now for figures that are coming in a year. Who knows what could happen by then. And since there's no bonus stuff for getting them through the BFS site I'll keep my preorder there unless they add something cool later like they did with Sonja. But damn they look good. I like Sonja enough to dabble in other figures BFS is doing. So this will be my Conan. And Belit looks cool af too. These are bigger then ML figures, but if you want Conan looking about the size of the old Hyperion body, maybe a bit larger, this could work I think. He's probably bigger. But, still worth it.

Like Super Camel, I'm a little concerned about Heroic Signatures so I've been hemming and hawing on the Black Stone Conan for a couple weeks now, But considering how most seem happy with BFS Red Sonja, immediately ordered this version. Was happy to see no markup on BBTS, too.

Can't believe all these great Conans are just falling out of the sky these days.

Not sure I need a Belit in my life for $70 but she does look good.
 
I got her because her and Conan and Sonja will look fantastic on the shelf together. I think shes probably a little too expensive. But its a year away so I can always cancel her if I really want to. I'd rather have her preordered and cancel later instead of her maybe selling out and me never getting a chance at all.

Those Conan figures are legitimately amazing. I'm glad I don't care about the character at all.

Long been wanting a Conan that could fit in with Legends. Think this is going to scratch that itch. Got a preorder in at BBTS.
 
I don't know a lot about Conan other than "yeah, I should read more Conan," but whoever Belit is has me entranced. I've just kept the tab open on that pirate queen image. I don't *think* I'll get her, because $65 is a bit much for an impulse buy, but I can't rule it out either. That means I would just be starting a HACKS collection and have to get Conan and Sonja and Delger Bat...

Crom help me if they do one of their Vitruvian Medusas in 1/12 scale.
 
I like alot of their smaller scale stuff and wish they'd do bigger versions for the 1/12 scale. But then I wouldn't be able to get them all anyway. But I would take most of the Greek and Roman mythological creatures. No idea where id put them either. They would look so cool though.

Well, in anticipation of these new Conan and Belit figures, I ordered Red Sonja and the Barbarian Skeleton Warrior to see what the EPIC Hacks are like and go with Conan and Belit next year. I also pre ordered Delger Bat, the Beast Tamer.

If for any reason I hate Red Sonja and this Skeleton, I will cancel my pre orders for the other stuff. But if I like them, I'm in for this line of stuff since I like Conan and sword and sorcery.

I can't imagine I won't like Red Sonja and the Skeleton. I've watched some YouTube videos, and they look great. And then a lot of you here have spoken very highly of red Sonja.
 
She has her issues. But she's still one of my favorite purchases this year. Partly because I like the character so much. But her face sculpts are gorgeous. On mine, the armor bikini bra broke the first time I tried swapping it. I had to repair that. And her neck pushes too far forward. I shortened it a little and twisted the barbell the other way to compensate. Its better now but not perfect. And the waist armor likes to move alot. But the figure itself is solid. I accidentally dropped her a couple times and she was perfectly fine. If I did that to the LC one id be scared of breaking her and the weapons. One of mine already broke and I had to get a replacement. And she poses really well. If Conan and Belit are even close to this good I know I'll like them. I also have the Legenderrry one on preorder and that looks better then the og version.

I found the problem with the Epic Skeletons (or at least the one I have) is joint failure over time. Out of the package it was pretty good. A few years later, it basically cannot stand on its own.
