G.I. Joe Classified Series

Got Monkeywrench and AWE Striker yesterday, was a bit meh on the way the roll-bars on the vehicle fit together as the sockets are kinda shallow so the thing pops apart when manipulating the heavy gun or seating the figures. I’ll probably get more used to it but it didn’t quite have the solid feel of assembling that the parts on the VAMP had.

What is really great is the quality of the suspension and sizing alongside the VAMP, so once I get the stickers on too I’m sure I’ll be generally very satisfied.

Monkeywrench and Crankcase have got really nice smooth but secure hips, and I’m so glad that they’ve refined this feature over the years the line has been going. Some of the early characters’ hips would just drop constantly or were so tight that the pegs would stress and snap straight away, though I haven’t had this issue with a figure for ages now.

It's difficult to know how to feel about it specifically because of the lack of transparency, even now, in what actually happened. Even the last bit, about how the dude never popped up to even apologize or anything is a tough one to know how to react to. Because we live in a very litigious world and with that many people being screwed out of their money, he'd basically need like three different lawyers to read over -anything- and -everything- he might want to say just to make sure he's protected from retaliatory lawsuits or anything like that. Sometimes, like it or not, it's probably safer to just disappear.

Even if he didn't do anything wrong, per se.
Yeah, as bad as things went down in the end, just NOT saying anything is legally the smartest thing a business owner can do. He was always so open with the Fwoosh community in the years before that. The heel turn was hard to watch. Fortunately I think I had only a single figure preordered with them when Dorkside fell apart.

Anyone getting the Hawk/MMS charged by Pulse yet? I see it's in stock on Amazon now. thinking about swapping it over to have a more predictable delivery date.

Sometimes it's best to quiet. Last month this company called Power Town Wrestling live streamed with chat on YouTube to explain their late figures and lack of updates. It devolved into former wrestler and current company management, Terry Allen, threatening not to release anything if people didn't stop complaining.

Police officer already arrived within 12 hrs of ordering.

Not many surprises here if you have Law & Order. The unique police pieces are mostly from him - the vest, cuffs, nightstick. He comes with a large shotgun, flare gun, taser, handgun, pointed cap, riot helmet and shield, large poncho, and a cup o’ Joe. The heads pop easily at the neck base and look generic enough. My only real gripe is the black arms below the rolled sleeves. Should have just been long sleeves rather than a compression shirt. Don’t know if I’ll add to these ranks.

I want this Sgt. Slaughter in Classified.

That Sarge pic is a jump scare.

So Amazon, at least an hour ago, no longer has a shipping date for the officers... doesn't say out of stock, just says "we'll update you when they ship." Which is interesting. I bet they're moving well. I'm not in a RUSH, I just have travel plans in October and if I can avoid weird shipping stuff like Pulse randomly sending eleven figures in individual boxes while my house sitter is here I want to do that, get stuff a week or two early. (Thank you, BBTS, for POL rules so I can hit ship when I'm on the airplane home and not worry about the boxes sitting in the rain.)

Just got shipping notification for the diver two-pack but it arrived saying "Your GI Joe Kenny order has shipped" and I was like - I already have Breaker! (Kibbey, not Kenny, Doc, Breaker's name is Kibbey)
