G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Poll - #18 Daina (Oktober Guard)

I love the OG, Brekhov especially.
I know Russian/old-school Warsaw Pact figures might not be what Hasbro wants to do right now, and I respect that, but I do think the Guard could be interpreted as a DC Blackhawks-like resistance force.
 
I'm a ues for Chameleon in that first image. Actual asian female representation in the line would be a good thing.

And huge yes for any of the Oktober Guard. I love them and want to add them to my collection for sure. Colonel Brekhov would be a great start.

Hard agree. If we can't have DEI in the real world, I can at least have it on my shelf by God.

Nope to Oktober Guard. But again, if in real life they plan to release them. I’d be surprised if I didn’t cave.

Day 5 - Bombstrike

G.I. Joe's Forward Air Controller, Bombstrike comes from the Valor Vs. Venom line, and also appeared in the Devil's Due comics. She is sister to fellow Joe Barrel Roll, as well as Cobra agent Black Out.

If they made her looking like the Collectors Club figure I'd get her. That Scarlett look was always one of my favorites.
 
Not a fan of the creator self-insert “family”story with Barrel Roll/Blackout/Bombstrike AT ALL, but I do like the characters themselves outside of all that. I’d definitely buy Bombstrike (supposed to be Bombshell, what a silly switch), and yeah I prefer the vested look to just “t-shirt with bewbs”.
