Mini Comic Wave 2

Is Feral just a smooth female legs and arms or is there sculpted fur? I can't tell. Maybe I''m just seeing low-res images. Please tell me it's the later.
 
I’ll prob crack and get the Surfer for the pinless. Plus the Silver looks a bit shinier. Probably need the space and no longer display Walgreens Surfer on my cosmic shelf and Haslab Surfer in Galactus’ hand. Or do I put a 3rd with my Defenders? Hmmm. I guess I sell Walgreens Surfer and stash Haslab Surfer just to keep the set intact or why even care at this point

Happy for that Widow for my DD shelf.
 
The non-Hound Rachel head and fiery wings are going right on that retro carded Phoenix body for me. Loved it when she wore her Mom’s costume. That Phoenix outfit remains one of the best-designed and iconic outfits around.

Again, super-duper-damn pumped for that Gladiator/Deathbird 2-pack. I love Kallark, so I’ll happily buy as many of him as they want to make. And I’m fully in for any Shi’Ar in general.

I may have to spring for an extra Quasar to get the quantum bands to put on one of my Surfers so The Keeper can hang with the classic Guardians.

Starfox/Champion, equally super-duper-damn excited for that 2-pack as well.

And the old Widow will be donating her Avengers jacket and upper arms to someone else. Not sure who right away.

Or you could just leave your grey widow with the jacket in your WCA display and put the Mini comic version in your Daredevil display

Man Without Fear is a great, great book, so I'm excited for Tracksuit Daredevil. That's one of the few corners of the line I reliably purchase. I'm not even sure I like Matt all that much (my loyalty's with Elektra, really), but he's got a ton of great comics.
 
Rachel looks great. Can't wait.
I'm not really attached to Feral as a character but, even with the apparently smooth appendages, that figure looks amazing.
And I know we already have a few, but damn, that Silver Surfer is sexy.

I'm apathetic about Grey Widow, Friskies Beast, and Princess Bride DD though they all look sharp.

So, 3 out of six!
 
I like what I'm seeing with Iceman. When I saw Crystar I said, "They need to do this with Iceman", and here we are. The accessories look unique at least, should be nice. AH! I just realized he comes with a snowball! Sweet.

I'll take Rachel for sure.

You know what simple thing would go a long way to make my buy Silver Surfer take IV? Two pegs on the surf board. I want to hang this guy up, and with one peg, his ankle gradually droops taking the board with it. The BEST solution is magnets which is what Toybiz did, but that ain't happening.

So yeah, I'm down for at least two of these reveals. That will be $60, please.....
 
I've had this framed poster since the 90's. It's always been on my wall, no matter where I lived.
The new Widow will be displayed in front of it.

Beast looks incredible. I get why they picked that cover, but it's funny that he doesn't come with one of the several other more iconic Astonishing X-Men covers.

Feral not having furry limbs is insane. Still excited for her and Rachel.

Man Without Fear Daredevil is fun. Always happy to see something unique like this in the line.
 
Let's see...

Silver Surfer is simultaneously the best one they've released and still a big disappointment. Absolutely should have been on the RYV body. I'll probably still pick this up because I missed out on the Walgreens version.

Cat Beast is a well made figure of a look I don't particularly care for, but I'll get him because I think they've done a good job with the Astonishing X-men so far.

Black Widow is a nice update. No complaints.

Daredevil is fun. Not sure if I need him.

Rachel and Feral are good and I'm happy for whoever wanted them but I'm not collecting those teams

So that's not just me seeing low-res pictures? She actually doesn't have fur? They..........they already made Wolfsbane! Having two choices of ready-made parts available, one being the absolutely correct choice, one being the absolutely wrong choice, and then going with the absolutely wrong choice is a McFarlane Toys move.

EDIT: Yep, I just saw the high-res pics on Marvelous News, smooth as a baby's bottom. Shoulders are furry, though! *dramatic sigh*

That Rachel looks really good, though. More excited for her than I thought I'd be.

I need to find a mostly yellow body to put an extra Rachel head on to do her pre-Excalibur X-Men look. That one, as basic as it was, was always a favorite of mine. Maybe Firestar would be a decent start.
