JADA TOYS General Thread

I don't think so. It might just be the white-on-mostly white photo that obscures it some.

Still hope they do more Rankin and Bass but not sure I can replace my Memory Lane ones. Jada continues to do a really good job for the most part. Wish I liked Scooby Doo. Why can’t they get the Looney Tunes license? Warner / Discovery own Hanna Barbera. Could it be that hard to extend to Looney Tunes?

Off topic. Why couldn’t CBS have waited one more year for the Frosty special after Rudolph’s success to let them do stop motion instead of 2D animation. Pains me to this day.

$50 was a shock for me, too. Is it the license? Tariffs?
Maybe some tariff in there, but I don't think it's the license. Super7 did the ReAction one last year and didn't upcharge it (and they love an excuse to upcharge). I don't know if it being a Big Bad exclusive tacks on a few bucks too, but $50 is certainly a lot and it's hard to square with their other offerings. Some places do have Tony the Tiger in the $40-$50 area so I wonder if there could be some price hikes coming from Jada. Big Bad still has him at $30.

I caved and bought at $50. Too expensive but want him to go with the Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and Year Without a Santa Claus figures. Hope we get Karen and Professor Hinkle...

I caved as well. Frosty was a favorite growing up and it was THE favorite Christmas special for my kids when they were little. The price is terrible though for what you get and I’m kind of mad at myself for agreeing to pay it. I worry it won’t sell well and the takeaway will be that people don’t want figures from Frosty or other specials and not that they just hate the price.

Still hope they do more Rankin and Bass
Does that include this?
