It’s a shame Big Trouble in Little China wasn’t a hit. I would have loved to see Jack Burton having adventures in other ethnic parts of town. Vs Greek mythological beings. Maybe visits some isolated Viking town as one of his trucking stops. Etc.

Oh…I want Big Trouble in Little China figures. 1/12 or 1/10. Surprised NECA hasn’t tried this property yet.
 
Jack Burton's truck breaking down somewhere in the Appalachians while he's surrounded by raven mockers, or Jack Burton in Canada unable to comprehend what a wendigo is and why the Algonquins are warning him so urgently about it. We should have had so many movies about him bumbling through every region's folklore.

Regarding Indiana Jones: my favorite alternate is Michelle Yeoh. Hoping we get something like this for Monster Force:

Was Chuckles supposed to be more of a Miami Vice or a Magnum PI composite? I'm not too familiar with the character.

I would like a Classified-adjacent looking Tom Sellack as Magnum though.

I REALLY hope FMF eventually brings this guy over to their 1/12 line. If they do a Snake Plissken analogue as well, I'd be incredibly happy.

So I'm looking at that page, and I'm a little concerned about something - are they using AI art now? I'm finding it tough to find attribution for the character images for that line and being online in 2025 has made me distrustful of literally anything I see.

I hate a witchhunt but man that really, really, REALLy has the glossy, cheap feel of AI slop. I haven't looked in a while if AI had started to get light sources correct (always the other tell from the finger thing, illogical light sources) but I hope for FMF's sake this is a case of hiring someone AI steals from to train rather than using AI. That does ring every alarm bell though.

It has enough of that AI look that before I read your comment I was like "hey we have a rule on this forum about no AI art." I hate the world we've had built around us in the arts because of this.
