I've been rewatching the Netflix Daredevil show, and Defenders currently (which is a lot better than I remembered it being, probably because I know what to expect and can just let it be what it is rather than what I expected), but I'm also creeping through Brooklyn 99 on Netflix. Thanks to DarthDre's urging, I FINALLY gave it a shot and laugh a lot with each episode and every few episodes I'll hit a scene or likeor dialogue that makes me fall over with laughter.

I finished season 2 of Squid Game. I was one of maybe 15 people in the states that had never seen the show. It certainly wasn’t what I expected it to be, and that was a good thing. I’m glad season 3 is so close. That was a Sherlock level cliffhanger to leave us on.

My wife is a reality TV addict. She got me into Survivor a few years ago, and we just started The Amazing Race. It's not nearly as compelling as Survivor, but it's entertaining.
After the longbox Heroes 1/12 reveal, I've restarted watching The Tick cartoon. Great show.
No shit, this is the first I've heard of it. Where are you watching it?

It's actually all on YouTube. It's from the 90's, but I'm still enjoying it.

I keep saying it but same here. Not sure what I expected but it wasn't that, and was way better than I thought it would be.

The Tick cartoon came out when I was in high school and was the cartoon where I decided I WASN'T too old for such things. It was so damned good. I enjoyed the live action show they do later on but it's definitely a different show. I'd never even heard of the comic at that point.

I started watching Survivor about halfway through the first season and have watched just about every season since. Comfort TV at this point.

Currently I am rewatching the original Dexter. I watched Original Sin and loved it so much that I went right back into Dexter. I've blazed through 5 seasons in a few weeks which is insane for me because I don't have much stamina when it comes to binging TV shows.

I'm blessed with a terrible memory so rewatching a show for me is almost as good as watching it the first time.

I watched the first few Original Sin and really enjoyed it but just haven't gotten back to it. Definitely reminded me of what I liked about the original show's first few season. For me though, each season was a decline in quality from the previous. Sometimes not a big decline, sometimes a massive drop.

I think 1-5 were pretty consistently good. A lot of people just say 1-4 but I loved Julia Stiles as Lumen and also love Jonny Lee Miller so maybe I'm biased.

Man, I don't even remember Johnny Lee Miller! I remember Eddie Jimmy and Tom Hanks' kid though. But I do agree on Stiles, I thought that was a really good plot.

He played that motivational speaker guy who was part of the group of men that assaulted Lumen. I had forgotten him too until this rewatch. Did you watch any of the sequel series with grown up Harrison and Clancy Brown? It was decent.

I didn't watch any of it, partly because I didn't have access to it until it was done and I'd heard things that made me okay not watching it. I was heavily intrigued by this prequel series though, and I really thought they did a great job with what I've seen so far.

I admit I was also thrilled they cast an Irish guy in the lead.

He was SO good as Dexter that it was initially jarring when I transitioned into season 1 of the original show after finishing Original Sin. I couldn't see MCH as Dexter for a while until I got used to him again.

Ultraman Ginga/Ginga S: Yikes! The 1st series was as bad as I'd heard. Started off good and I liked the characters, but after about 3 episodes the stories got more and more boring. Thank goodness they changed things up drastically for Ginga S. Ginga S has the (intentionally) funniest episode I've seen from any Ultra series when an evil alien goes rogue. Seriously, just thinking about that episode or any of that character's scenes puts a smile on my face.
