Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Genuinely not raining on any parades.

Just curious where their shipping vs prior release dates is right now, and what the "real" expected date would be on these.
My experience is that it's now out to a little over two years, so probably fall of '27.

I'm tempted by the "tundra goblin" head on the gnome and I'd Say Yes to the Werewolf™ if I had room for another ogre-scale figure, but I already have three ogres so I think I'll ultimately pass on this wave.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect these before late 2027. I think that's the toughest part of being a legions fan - just kind of assuming they'll get here some day and not knowing when.

Super stoked for the Polar Bear, giant wolf and mini fox. This will be the most I buy from a given 4H wave in a long time.

The livestream was a lot of fun to watch. Love the story for this wave, and the characters and accessories look like a lot of fun. I need to think about this. Although the characters are quite appealing, nobody is a must-have for me. I buy most of this line, but it’s the knights and skeleton knights that are my focus. M

Igraine looks particularly great. I know my daughters would love the little arctic fox imp scale character.

Really fun reveal. The only thing that ruins it for me is the lack of a snarling polar bear sculpt. Recreating that battle between the bear and werewolf is severely limited with just a calm polar bear head. I hope they reconsider adding a new head there.

Yeah a slightly different head for the Polar Bear would have been really nice. Though I so much wanted a Pilar Bear mount in this line I'm too stoked to complain about it.

The wolf is the one I'm most sure about. Otherwise, there's always some niggling thing that keeps me from actually ordering figures in this line that would otherwise appeal to me.

The bear fur sculpt looks too feathery/scaly to me, and the polar bear isn't a polar bear. The snake guy's head sits too funny on its neck to look good to me. The lion's head looks enormous on the body. They tried to put too much of the hyena's anatomy into the swappable bits in order to keep the body re-usable, so it too looks awkward and oversized. Even the little fox guy here, I'd like more if he wasn't in armor and had some un-gauntleted hands.

I noticed the werewolf has the likeness of Vargg's face on his belt and the little bit of copy on the website says he escaped imprisonment (shackles, chains, muzzle). I hope this foreshadows a good vampire wave in the near future.

I think the gnome has won me over so I'm not entirely passing on this wave.

Yeah, like Necronominus, this feels like just the first half of a story with a second wave in the works to continue it.

The DnD nerd in me did look at the gnome and recoil going "OH NOT A REDCAP" because those guys are so notoriously vile, but then scoping out his kit I was totally won over. I'm also a sucker for lil fuzzy guy sidekicks (Thistlethorn might be my favorite figure in all of ML) so the little fox dude was an easy sell for me.

This might be the clearest, most compelling story concept for a wave they've done so far. In terms of telling us who these guys are, this is their best work yet. I love these guys but their character bios always feel like they've been run through multiple language translators and have only a vague shape of what they were meant to read like but this time it's like Oh, I WANT to know more about this story.

This is the first Legions reveal since I started collecting the line. I think it's one of their strongest yet.

I'm definitely in for Commander Igraine. She'll fill the cleric-sized hole in my toy D&D party. I'm getting the tavern set, too. It won't work in any of my current displays, but I'll find a spot for it. $25 feels like a steal compared to other 1/12 accessory sets.

I'm tempted by Frostfurr and the gnome. According to 4H, they stand at about 4".

My initial thought was to pose Frostfurr charging in on the polar bear, but I'm not sure I'll wind up with the bear.

Maybe I'll wait for the inevitable gnome wizard reskin. One of the D&D characters I've been kicking around for years is a gnome wizard.

At least I have some time to think on it.

Yeah, that bothered me about the first bear as well. I'm going to try to use it as an excuse to pass on this one. It's not like I have anywhere to put it.
Even the little fox guy here, I'd like more if he wasn't in armor and had some un-gauntleted hands.
Same. He's got big Ghus from Saga vibes.
