I have no delusions over what Hasbro is -likely- to do, which is probably why I immediately get up in my feelings whenever ideas I hate are mentioned. Because those are the ideas Hasbro is most likely to go with. Because they hate their own customers.

As someone for whom T'Jbang was one of my ride-or-dies, looking over at that figure every day makes me intensely happy. There's things I would have done differently, for sure. But they really did a phenomenal job translating that design and I love it so much.
 
So next week the Ninjas will be unleashed. I guess the following will have some Walmart preorders. I think my Destro through Pulse isnā€™t coming till August. Weā€™ll get loads of new at SDCC including new creative team. Will Snow Cat unboxing vid be next week? Loads of Joe stuff coming.

Ugh. Saw a local WM was showing the Star Eagle Transformer in stock that hadn't had him the previous days, so I figured it was a good indication that they'd gotten the shipper in and I might be able to grab a Duke.

So I drive half an hour out there and do a search around the toy area, nothing, expand my search to the nearby areas, nothing. Work up the nerve to track down an employee and have them check the barcode, says there's two "on the floor" but no idea where they might be. So I go up and down every aisle in the store trying to find this damn thing, but didn't see any indication of the shipper or the Transformer. Wasted about 45 minutes walking around for this dumb thing šŸ˜©

If I hadn't just had one of the magazines I freelance for get bought out I could honestly see getting two so I could use both faces, but I gotta be at least only regular irresponsible and the goddamned arctic stuff is coming in hot soon...
 
To be fair:
Iā€™ll be getting an ā€œextraā€ check from finishing the run of a show at that time, and while not a *ton* of money (like $1500 or less, but in addition to my more normal day-job income), that check is earmarked for summer convention stuff and a ton of it will go to Hasbro. Gotta grab at least three of the Deming packs as well.

It's because you want three Shipwrecks, right? And you're anxious about what you're gonna do with so many Demings, hoping maybe some idiot might trade a Deinonychus for one or something?
 
Honestly if it was economically feasible Iā€™d do a double-digit build of the Demings. That blue dress uniform *sends* me. I want a squad of those brassed-up betties to guard Cobra Commander.
 
So I just went in to make sure I didn't have a meeting scheduled when these go up for sale and I saw I have "reserve for a doctor call?" in the calendar. Now, I do have at least one appointment a week right now because of my fucked vision so that was entirely possible. But I may have stuck that in there so I WOULDN"T book a doctor's appointment when Deming and the Fatal Fluffies went on sale, because I have no doctor's appointment. I'm an asshole, but I'm a crafty asshole.
