Queen Studios InArt 1/12 DC Figures

Arkham Origins batman arrived here pretty recently too, genuinelly really impressed. Essentially looks like he fell out of the game, accessories are great and the movement is super smooth.

I did notice that the cape is quite a thin material, but it works nicely at that scale and drapes really well. You can get the proper brooding dark knight look, which is something I've always tried to do with Batman figures since I had the kenner ones as a kid 😄

Thought about getting some smoke effect pieces go with the smoke bomb accessory as well, but does anyone have any recommendations?

I had the same thought about the cape. The wires in the sides seem to be pretty strong, but I'm sort of surprised they didn't offer two capes (wired and drape). Like you said, though, it does drape well on its own so maybe they figured this material was good enough for both.

Yeah, I think two capes would be the ideal situation, with a few extra wires in the wired version to help hold the bat shape. It works well enough though, and an extra cape would likely push up the cost a bit.

I've seen people using these. I think those are Tamashi recasts.

Every day my resolve to not buy these lessens more and more. AO Bats might finally push me over the edge; I don't think we've ever gotten a good figure (at least 1/12 or 1/10 scale) of that look. Sometimes even I forget how much I liked Origins. Definitely underrated all around.

Can’t recommend this figure enough. I’ve had the regular version for a while now, and it’s easily one of the best Batman figures I’ve ever owned (and I have a LOT).

Well, heck, with a username like yours, I suppose I have to trust you. 🤪 Knowing me, it's just a matter of time before I break down anyway, so I might as well. My birthday's a month from today; maybe I'll treat myself.

Origins is my 2nd favorite in the franchise. I love that game.
