Harvinger Studios, Savage Crucible

Very weird, but probably worth contacting them to see if they can fix it. Brynyar isn't selling out just yet so you might be able to just grab a replacement.
Thank you, I sent an email. I tried to preorder a replacement from BBTS but can't due to the prior order and the cap on 1 per customer for this item at BBTS.

Received Naraka and Brynyar and the latter promptly snapped at the knee. This is the first QC issue I've had with these and this despite it being a warm day and applying heat. Nuts.

It is my fear that since the joints are covered, one day I will go in at the wrong angle. I've done it on joints I can see.

I saw Rob cranking on Elric's joints trying to snap them when he was demonstrating the strength of POK joints. I was wondering if it was possible to break the surrounding plastic while the stronger POK joint stays intact. Iirc, Rob couldn't break the joint, but one of the parts popped out of place. It's possible Brynyar doesn't have the touted joints?

I can confirm Elric is in a league of his own durability wise. I had to manhandle the hell out of him and the worst that happened was his arm coming off and then popping back on. Even his cape which feels kind of fragile to me came out unscathed, so take that how you will.

Elric is the first to have his joints made from POK. Death Dealer will have his knees (and ONLY his knees) made from POK.

I am indeed head hunting.
Thanks for the list. I didn't know gridiron did things aside from military hardware.

Did the errored Elric ever resolve through SC?

I've gotten a number of heads from Casting Cave over the years, including some great heads for Figuarts/Black Series Han Solo, but I don't like that comic Conan head. He looks like one of the Baldknobbers. If CC does a better one though I'll be all over it. (The one he has for Mythic Legions is better.)

I really like some Casting Cave heads, but man... and I am NOT saying they're not reasonably priced... I cannot justify paying more than the figure for a variant head.

I wonder why only his knees?
I think they said it was just based on where the figure was in the production schedule and what basically wasn't completed yet when they switched over. So they could do the knees in POK, but doing the arms, for instance, would require tossing what they'd made and starting over. Something like that, if I'm remembering correctly.
