General Marvel Legends

That's also possible but I was thinking they might try another HasLab - but if they have said otherwise I missed it.

They announced there are no HasLabs at all this year, not for any of their properties, like two weeks ago or something....

If G.I. Joe Classified can make a hooded Cobra Commander, then maybe Marvel Legends can make a proper Mandarin or Red Skull in his WW2 uniform.
Problem with that is that Cobra Commander is entirely fictional, while Yellow Peril bigotry and the Nazis are absolutely real.
I also want those figures. And I hope they do make them, but it’s not apples-to-apples with hooded CC. Indeed, the fact that hooded CC neither materially resembles nor is intended to be a part of any current real-world “evil” movement is why Joe fans were always salty he was being censored and lumped in with the KKK and such. An *actual* KKK/“real world” fascist-inspired villain, like, say the Hate-Monger, is going to be a much tougher sell, and should be, at least when compared to hooded CC.

That said: I’d buy a Hate-Monger Marvel Legends figure for sure.

They could remove the nazi logo on Red Skull's arm band and replace it with the hydra logo.

In his very specific case: yes, and they have. Not in *modern* Marvel Legends, *yet*, unless you count the MCU versions that very much do wear, if not *exact* WW2 German uniforms, very close approximations of same. But THEE first ML Red Skull was in a dress uniform, and even had a removable SS-inspired cap. It was a VERY shitty figure, but they did make him. I doubt a dress-uniform and/or leather-trenchcoat version of the Skull is entirely off the table.

Although personally, my next Red Skull request is an 80s/90s business suit version on the Tombstone body.

Interesting - maybe they have fully moved on to the made to order option (which I think is better and has less downside), maybe they don't think the economy can support really high ticket stuff (although the animatronic Grogu is evidence that they are still OK with expensive stuff), maybe they got scared about committing to things 18 months out with tariffs and volatile oil and so on.

Also, I would want nothing to do with a Hate Monger figure. I get what Stan and Jack were aiming for, but not a figure I need.

Hasbro also only has to convince itself a hooded Cobra Commander is worth doing while they have to convince themselves and then Disney with anything Marvel related. If Krusty the Clown can't be depicted smoking then making a Nazi toy might be a tough sell.

Dragon Man + seems right for Mangog. His relative scale is probably more important to me than matching actual stats - plus his height is canonically variable. I want him to be noticeably bigger than any other Asgardians, but not standing taller than the Frost Giants or so big that he would compete with Surtur, who I hope they eventually make at about Sentinel size.

I guess I need to hit up our Meijer store when I get paid next. Professor Hulk is showing up there. I just watched a review this morning and that's where the reviewer got him. They use to carry ML all the time then 2-3 years ago stopped except for MCU figures. Then last year they started carrying the X-Men '97 and Mini Comic waves plus the Gamerverse Cap and Venom set. Glad to see this. Meijer usually doesn't get hit as hard as Target and Walmart in my area. I hope they keep this up.
