man pulse premium is close to losing me. The free shipping & early access is great, but they moved to "charge without warning" for pre-order stuff, and a lot of times it's way earlier than the release date. I manage a hobby debit card to pay for this stuff and have come to rely on the "heads ups" to make sure there's enough funds..
 
That's part of the reason why they lost me too, honestly. Sometimes they'd send the heads up emails, but most of the time they wouldn't. Sometimes they wouldn't even send the shipping email, the thing would just appear on my doorstep. And god forbid I'd have multiple things in an order- they'd all show up in separate boxes for some reason. No better way to make yourself feel shame at spending too much money than 4-5 items showing up in individual boxes WAY too big, so it looks like you ordered half the store. And if one of those boxes somehow got lost? Forget about it.

And that's saying nothing of the pretty awful customer service- once things left their warehouse, they became Bully Maguire about things and just refused to help. The "early access" isn't even all that early anymore, and still doesn't guarantee you anything.

I'm obviously just venting here, but yeah- it's gonna take a lot to get me to join Pulse again. 😅
 
Yeah, the few times I've hit up their customer service, they were of absolutely no help at all. Honestly it didn't even seem like they were interested in communication about my issues. Just the fake canned responses...
 
I grabbed x2 of the little Grogu set. I love that little bastard so much. I wish I could find the little Action Force set with him and the Anzellans with the Anzellan ship. I did get the regular Grogu Action force figure though for the movie.

I am very intrigued by this rumored Clone set Ru reported on the reporting of. I might end up getting a couple of those depending on what it comes with.

Not sure if it's a WalMart exclusive or not, but that seems to be the only place I've see it. I'll try to snap of pic of the repainted one tonight, it completely changes the look of the ship and makes the details pop hard!

Thanks for posting that link. I'm definitely going to get one of those. And definitely share those pics. I'd love to see what you did to the little Anzellan ship.
 
Oh man, those are really cool! I love that they come with the coin too. I may actually have to get those. I hope if these do well, they do an Ewok or two in the Ewok Cartoon packaging.

Right on! It’s actually not a bad looking vehicle despite the action features. If you keep it closed up, the only glaring thing is the missile buttons.

All I did was mask off the yellow paint markings, canopy, landing gear, & interior with painters tape then sprayed it with these guys (Matt coat first). Not the smoothest coverage, I’m sure there’s much better paint for this. It was just a mess around project for me and that chrome paint is so old, I don’t even remember where it came from. I wax going to panel line it, but I think I’m going to leave it as-is and call it a day!

Looking forward to loading it up with either TBS or TVC figures when I figure out what scales the best.

Looks great, Reefer! A lot more deluxe. I've been doing a bunch of those kinda simple custom paint jobs and such on some of my figures lately, and it's made a big difference. Heck, just removing some of the shine from the figures with a quick little matte coating really helps some of them. How do the Anzellans in the set scale with Black Series? I've seen a lot of folks asking, but don't know if I've seen anyone actually answer it yet.

Regarding the Droids figures- YakFace said there should be a Boba and a Stormtrooper going up alongside them. The rumored Archive wave was misinterpreted, and this is what's getting released instead

Thanks man! Sometimes such a small thing like this can make a really huge difference right? I dont do custom work very often, but im always planning it my head for some reason.

The Anzellans are way too big for TBS I think. Honestly they look closer to 1/6 scale to me, but I may be off. They are much bigger than the little guys that came with the deluxe IG-11. I can snap a pic of them next to my little 1/12 SW setup if you like! (mix of TBS, Mafex, etc..)



RE: the droids figures - I think they're neat, but Im definitely passing. I did pick up that Boba they did a few years back (was a Target ex?), but have already sold him off in a purge early last year. Im in super selective mode with TBS figures these days.
