Masters of the Universe: Origins

I wasn't going to get an extra Orko to make Montork because it annoys me that the O still shows. I wish they'd made his beard a bit larger to cover it.

I'm thinking about trying to pop and switch his arms and turn the body around so the O is on the back and I can't see it so I ended up adding a second one to my loot and will probably try.
 
I got two Orko's to make Montork as well, but I hadn't realized or thought about the "O" being shown. But I can live with it. Hopefully the beard covers enough of the O that I don't obsessive over it too much lol.
 
The O was visible under the beard in promo photos, so this isn’t a surprise to me. I haven’t decided on which character I want to display. I do want to compare to the first Origins Orko to see what the actual differences between them are. I’ve had the Origins one with the Cartoon collection because he’s close enough as far as I’m concerned. He actually looks more cartoon than a homage to the vintage.
 
The CC Orko definitely looks more Filmation. I didn't think there was going to be too much of a difference but I'm glad I picked him up.

Those look great Justice. I really like the differences between Origins and Origins Cartoon Orko. Cartoon Orko is quite a bit smaller it seems, but he does come off more Filmation then the first Origins release. Montork looks really good too.

I got a box in from BBTS today I haven't opened. I think it's this Wave. I need to go open it and see.

Do you order so much from BBTS that you can't even keep straight what is in the box?? 🤨

LOL No, but I do order a lot from them. But not so much I can't keep track. But this time I have a few things out at once. I had made an order of some In Stock items that shipped, and at the same time my Origins Cartoon Wave shipped, and Masterverse Blade shipped. So, 3 boxes out at once from them. I never do Pile of Loot, I just let them ship stuff as it comes.

And I think the Origins Cartoon Wave beat everything here.

I usually don't let mine accumulate for too long. I'm impatient. I accumulate it for my birthday and for Christmas or if I know a few things are due at one time. Otherwise I ship it. I like having a delivery scheduled for Friday to help get me through the work week. I figure my dog gets a treat every time she comes in from using the bathroom so why shouldn't I get one after making it through a whole week at work 😂

I don't. It is a lifelong goal of mine to help stimulate the shipping and handling industry by being as frivolous as possible with my online orders.

I kid, of course. Seriously though, since BBTS only charges $4 I just let them ship as they come. I do have to say, I love BBTS. I have ordered from them for nearly 2 decades, and they have just been the best the entire time.
 
I opened that package, and it is the Origins Cartoon Wave. x2 Orkos, x1 Fang Man, and x1 Grizzlor. They all look really good. Very colorful, nice paint apps, and really nice sculpts. I'll have to open them in a bit and make one of the Orko's Montork.

I love that we live in a world where we now have 2 figures of Fang Man. That is exactly 2 more of him than I had when I was a kid. And I really wanted him as a figure when I was little. It's great having him in Classics and Origins.

But with Pile of Loot that $4 cost gets spread over an increasing number of things so that the per item shipping cost is just pennies

I am a POL hoarder... I don't ship until I have at least a dozen items piled up... I have 15 items there right now because Jada Blanka hit this morning.
 
I generally ship at about 6-8 items, or in the $200 total value range. I don’t love shipping an order so big that if it gets lost in transit, I’m really screwed.

Thats a good point.. though i havent had that issue so far.
