In 1:12 scale, there is really no meaningful difference among 5'4" and 5'6" (1/6 of an inch). That Art Adams panel has Magma a full foot taller than Wolfsbane though.

I'd be fine with Dani and Magma one height and Karma, Magik and Rahne another about a 3/4" shorter.
 
Yeah those height differences are all in hair-splitting territory. Make the girls a little smaller than the boys, make Cannonball taller and lankier.

You know Magik is going to look pretty good next to the BAF Warlock. They really nailed it with that release but he's 10 years old and has been an island figure the entire time with zero teammates to display with him. Shameful. You can 100% bet on him getting a rerelease if the rest of the NM get made. But will his paint job be as good the second time around?

Yeah, I was literally just thinking this morning that Warlock is likely to get the deluxe re-release treatment, if they focus on getting the 80s New Mutants out within a year or two.
 
I wouldn't mind that if they made him pinless. Not sure how hard it would be to upgrade him. And its not that the pins are ugly, its that hes so big and his joints were a bit gummy, and mine ripped at the bottom knee joint on both legs. I have his bottom knee joints glued together, and just use the top. I don't know if that's common, but it happened to *both* legs. I'm worried about bending his arms too. He just feels like hes gonna rip there as well.

Agreed about the listed heights - those just don’t jive with the reality of how the characters were depicted, so they should focus on relative sizes based on the comic art. I want exactly the setup you describe for the girls.
 
Hearing that BBTS is starting to process this wave, the temptation became too great. I POed DD and Creel, which I'm sure will now delay their arrival for everyone. I humbly apologize for my lack of restraint and patience.
 
Whelp, BBTS had Crusher, Sam, and Constrictor in-stock and I couldn't resist. Bought them there and cancelled my Amazon pre-orders for them. Still have my Amazon pre-orders for Illyana and Matt intact though.

Should have the in-stock three by Tuesday. In theory.
 
I'm gonna wait on my POs elsewhere for the rest, but I really want both DD and Crusher Creel asap. CC is in my PoL, but I don't know how much longer I should wait for Daredevil. Ugh, gosh darn my impatience to h-e-double hockey sticks..

Thanks for the heads up! My collecting mantra for this year is "Mind the impending recession and save your cash," but I couldn't wait on Sam. I'll grab Illyana as soon as she shows too and then sit on the rest.
 
I wonder if its likely they repaint that Falcon in his green and orange costume or if I should buy an extra and paint it.
 
Come on, Amazon; bump those delivery dates forward already!

That costume doesn’t have wings or those boots. I guess if the cutout on the chest on this Falcon is cast that would be helpful.
