McFarlane DC Multiverse

I decided to go for AzBats and got him for a reasonable price from MTS using my Platinum discount and MTS10. Wasn’t going to at first, but he’s a nice upgrade.

I then decided to pass on the Golden Age Batman entirely. I’m beginning to hate GameStop for various reasons and just decided not to bother. I use the 50’s Batman that came with Ace as my default GA/JSA Batman. He works perfectly fine and is even a little more visually accurate with the (almost) midnight blue. Too much black ink was problematic in the GA of comics. The paper was low quality and too much black ink would clump or smear. So whenever you see midnight blue in a GA comic, think black. I’m assuming that’s why this particular version of Batman was produced.

I’m OK with midnight blue. Keeping money away from GameStop is a bonus.
 
I set my alarm for the drop time, got Azbat which was all I wanted. Do I eBay my original Azbat now or wait until the new one is in hand? Counting the new one, I now have all the McFarlane Azbats and that's probably too many.

Actually...let's see, I will have 5 McFarlane Azbats, Mafex Azbat, and Mattel Azbat, and this is against everything I am trying to achieve in my collection. I only need one. One tricky part is he's got two looks and it's a coin toss as to which one I like more. The other tricky thing is that companies tend to do really good jobs on their Azbat figures and out of those seven, I can't pick the dud. Mattel's version, 20 years old, is still bangin'. This is one problem I have yet to work out.

We've all seen or heard the massive leak lists. But if you could only have between like 1-5 more characters that ARE NOT on the leaked lists as Todd finishes things up, who would you want?

One of my main wants is Katana. I'd like her to go with the Outsiders. We have Batman, Geo Force, Black Lightning, and Metamorpho. So, I'd really like to have Katana for that team, and I just really like her. Also, she's a Birds of Prey member.

Also, seeing all the Bat-Villains Todd likely has coming, he really covers most of my main wants. Black Mask, Ivy, Ra's, Mad Hatter, etc.

But I'd really like to have Firefly and Talia. And I'd like to have Saint Walker to finish off the Lantern Corps leaders.

Those are just 4 that aren't mentioned that I'd love to have.

How about you guys.

Hawkman and Hawkgirl in a uniform look.

Maybe some Batman 89 Joker goons.

Katana would be fantastic, especially in her classic Samurai armor, but then I would definitely need a Halo as well.

There are so many characters that I would want to finish off teams or at least boost some displays, but in my heart of hearts, if I had to pick 5 that aren't on the leak lists, it would be the Omega Men hands down no contest. Maybe Mattel will make them one day, but I ain't holdin' my breath
 
I definitely thought about Halo when I mentioned Katana. I'd love to have Halo, but I can live without her. Again, maybe under Mattel this time around we'll get her along with the Omega Men :)

I'd say my list is probably similar to yours- more Bat villains. I know people hate that he's done so many Batman-centric figures, but there's a reason- they're freakin' awesome characters.

Saint Walker is high on my list, as is Neeson Ra's. It's gonna feel so weird ending the line if we get B&R Bane of all characters, but no Ra's. Same with Saint Walker- having all the Lantern Leaders except for one. My weird nerd completionist side would never let me rest, so for my sake (and for all of yours, because I'd probably never shut up about it), I'm really hoping Todd pulls through.
 
Would love a modern Cyborg to complete the Dawn of DC Titans.

I second Johnny Thunder but I wonder if they’d make Jakeem instead given their penchant for 2000s era JSA figures.

Happily ordered AzBat and eBayed my bright blue one. Never opened that Walmart version for some reason but it’s paying off now.
 
Five comic book figures I would want - Katana, Halo, Metamorpho, Looker, Atomic Knight

Five theatrical figures I would want - Supergril (Helen Slater), Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine), Ra's al Ghul (Liam Neeson), Talia al Ghul (Marion Cotillard), Cheetah (Kristen Wiig)

Four figures for another vault wave - Joker (Comedian - the Three Jokers), Lucius Fox (Dark Knight Tumbler version), Beast Boy (SDCC), Shazam (Dawn of DC)

There are more figures I want for vault waves but they are all platinum figures
