Harvinger Studios, Savage Crucible

I don't have Elric or Nakara ordered, but I anticipate getting them. I try not to do placeholders; filling part of the display with something I ultimately know I will replace. I'm pretty good with arranging space so nothing looks like its missing until something new gets put in.

And if it ends up that I can't get Elric or Nakara, there's more drop figures coming later in the year too.

I've moved the Warrior WBAC to my Frazetta display, (paintings and books,) because I'm anticipating Silver Warrior to be announced, and he can join Warrior WBAC and Death Dealer and his Horse for a nice battle scene.

What scale are these? Are they closer to Marvel Legends or Masterverse?
Just did a quick side by side - they scale at the taller end of Marvel Legends - think Cap or Punisher rather than Daredevil or Spidey. Like I'd say "as big as you'd want a Marvel Legends Conan." almost a head shorter than Masterverse, and just slightly smaller than Mythic Legions but their proportions are more like Legends, leaner and less cartoony.

About a half a head taller than the average Classified.

So it sounds like they’re in-scale with MOTU Chronicles?

In my opinion, not really, but also it depends. I just put MAA next to Nashorn, and Nashorn is very obviously bigger in every way - thicker, more muscular, marginally taller. So if the goal is to have figures that are overall bigger than MOTU figures but still look like they could co-exist, they'll work. If you don't want your making your He-Man look kind of wimpy, they might not work.

Edit: Granted, MAA seems to be the smallest of the Chronicles figures, but not by a huge amount or anything.

Yeah, I know. That's IF they have stock left over. I'm pretty sure they will, but maybe not as much as we may think. When I talked with Frankie Frazetta he mentioned Elric sold very well, and was one of, if not the, best seller until Death Dealer. I got the impression there may not be a ton of stock left over after retailers get theirs and pre-orders are filled.

I'm hoping they'll do another version of Elric where the armor isn't so busy. I passed on this one by choice because I hate the armor. If they do a more strippeed down version I will jump on it.

Hmm, okay. Thank you!

I came here to post 5K's Instagram reel. That looks like the best figure in the line to date.

I'm praying this encourages them, or another toy company, to pursue fantasy literature licenses.

I do kind of wish they'd gone more with the Brom "adventuring' Elric look rather than the plate mail, but it still appears to be an awesome figure.

As for literary figures, I'm surprised no one's taken another crack at book-based Lord of the Rings figures since Toy Vault nearly 30 years ago. I suppose either the license is too costly or the sense is that the cinematic depictions of the characters have supplanted the literary ones in the popular imagination so much that it isn't worth trying.
