G.I. Joe Classified Beamish-Style Weekend Vehicle Poll - #50 - Ghost Hawk (POC)

Boxy but good was my nickname in college.

If the Wolverine can be redesigned to fit more that ONE figure, and that their heads are not at risk of being shot off by missiles.. I probably still wouldn’t have room for it and would pass.

Big yes to a Classified Wolverine. Ramen Toy did an amazing job with their offering and if I could have afforded it at the time I might have picked it up, space be damned.

As much as I would love to have it for CG, size and cost would be prohibitive factors. Want it? Yes. Afford it? No. Pocketbook wins out I’m afraid.

I really like the Ice Dagger, so it's a strong maybe.
The problem is -- after the SnowCAT and the Arctic HISS, I'm really not sure what space I'll have left to even store, let alone display, any ground vehicles. Good chance I just wouldn't be able to find the money/space for this, but I'd like to. Especially if they update the deco to be a little more white and a little less blue (I don't mind blue - just don't want it to just be solid blue).

Wolverine is cool and it's one of those 'in a perfect world - yes' scenarios. But, as per the above, with probably no space left for large ground vehicles, I can't see this fitting into the display or the budget so I probably wouldn't get it unless one of those things, at least, drastically changes.

Well, gee, I’d buy that, but if only they could do the windows clear on the canopy, yeah, that’s easier to see in the sky, hawk.

I'm with Damien in the "in a perfect world" sort of a assessment for the Wolverine - I don't want to give it a hard no but space and cost make it a very wish-based yes.

I'd rather have the old school VTOL than the Ghost Hawk but some variant of it would be cool and I also think not massive.

Day 50 - Ghost Hawk (Pursuit of Cobra) (3/8/26)

Tying in with Tomahwk, 2010's Ghost Hawk that goes in the sky!

For me this falls into the same category as the Sky Sweeper Jet remold/redeco of the Firebat. Taking what I consider a classic, fairly simple, design and adding a bunch of modern looking greeble, and/or design aesthetics, for the sake of making it look more modern (I guess)?

I do think this version of the Ghost Hawk is better than the Sky Sweeper Jet remold and can better pull off the look with the modernized engines, etc. However I would rather have the classic look Sky Hawk over this. If Classified went this route first I would probably still cave and get one knowing they would still probably release a classic version down the road.

Waiting for Sky Hawk or Ghost Hawk for Classified. I have the third party one but would still buy an official one. I think it’s the most iconic GI Joe vehicle from the pre-‘87 days that isn’t a Cobra vehicle. Small enough footprint, versatile. Very welcome in my collection.
