They're predominantly depicted as desert troops in N. Africa. They also have cloth flaps on their neck. Ie: Dusty or the Desert Scorpion guys.

“Close” is a relative term. If you mean Nevada is close to France compared to, say, Mars, then yes, it’s close. If you’re comparing it to Spain, then no.

The French Foreign Legion has sported a number of different looks over the years:

I walked into my Target to see 8 or so Royal Guards. I grabbed a couple to check em out. Then I found out about Young Sherlock on Prime and I’m smitten.

For anyone else that has the Cobra-La Royal Guard - are the knee joint detents SUPER tight between the lower legs and the knees. I warmed them up in hot water to hopefully loosen them a bit and they're still a bear to move. And they really click when you're moving them, audibly.

Yup. Don't have one, but had to do the treatment for a friend who was afraid to do anything.

The click and the tightness didn't do anything, even with shock oil.
