NECA - General Thread

Oh. My. God.

If they get to Darkwing and Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers...
Is it too much to hope we get Toon Gargoyles?

Like, sure, I’ll begrudgingly accept Gargoyles isn’t popular enough to support a “realistic” “comic style” stand alone line…

But maybe with some famous Ducks to prop them up as the anchors to a “Disney Afternoon Collection”, and assuming they fix the wings to be the style *you the person about reply wanted most* surely that could work, right?

I'd at least love to see them kick the tires with a toony Goliath. It could even be a tie-in with the current Darkwing Duck crossover taking place in the comics.

Never played Dead by Daylight, myself, but I've liked all the monster designs I've seen. Trapper looks cool- kinda gives me Juggernaut vibes from the Thirteen Ghosts movie. Heck, those would be cool figures to get! Never gonna happen, but still.

Seeing the little Gingerbread Men from Krampus over in the Trick or Treat Studios display (do we have just a general horror thread, by the way?) reminds me that we never got that Krampus creature pack NECA showed off a while ago. Bummer.

Where is this? Haven't seen TOTS coverage yet

McDonald's figures could be fun, I had the ones that were put out on the early 2000s that were the update of the Remco figs from the 80s. Unfortunately the second wave in the 2000s never was produced. But goes well with the Saturday morning TV figures...

The two on the left with the buckets are listed as "costume figures", and the Grimace as an Ultimate. So two different lines?
I saw the buckets first and had a Shut Up and Take My Money meltdown. But yeah, that makes sense. The Ben Cooper figures must be a goldmine for NECA, they make so many nostalgia IPs that much more valuable to pick up. I wouldn't be surprised to see DuckTales and Muppets show up there too.

All about some Barks ducks but I’m not sure they can beat my Herocross ones.

I’d be far more into a Bobs-Shoneys-Kips Big Boy than McDonalds. I even preferred the 70s knock off Jack in the Box characters to McD’s
