The Countdown to SDCC 2025!

The pattern there is that Kevin Feige essentially overrode him most likely without explicitly saying anything at all to Jesse by including Kang as a prominent figure in the MCU.

Correct. That is my point. He doesn't speak for the whole company. If it's just one guy saying no, there's always a chance someone else could override the veto.

Interesting story though, and I assume it means Jesse isn't too broken up about them being forced to abandon their future Kang movies.

I was going to ask him about that, but thought better of it. It's probably best to just let the whole Kang debacle die. We got comic and movie accurate figures of Kang so that's pretty cool and really all that matters.

Jesse's great. He really is. He loved those Articulate Thoughts trading cards. They made him happy and that's very cool.

No you won't. We'll get you in somehow.

I'll see what I can do about getting you an exhibitor's badge with a local comic store. There are other ways, too. If @TheSameIdiot is okay with it, maybe we can get you a press pass. Last I heard, a site had to have a minimum of 40,000 unique hits a month to qualify. I'll check and see what the requirements are but I think I can get one if the powers that be here are okay with it. And then if you want, and I'm just throwing this out there, you can easily get a volunteer badge. I've been volunteering for years and I love it. You get to make new friends and have some fun. It's usually pretty simple. It's just handing out bags and program books to people who are entering the convention center, standing with a sign that says "End of Line" or my personal favorite, assisting handicapped folks with the ADA department. You push a wheelchair around and take them where they want to go. You do a three hour shift and the rest of the day is yours. And there's no cost. Also, you get a free tee shirt or a pin.

So do not give up hope. We still have plenty of time to figure something else out.

I NEEEEEEED you at the Marvel Legends panel. When they announce the multi-color Warbow wave with a Jack of Hearts build a figure, you'll have to call the EMT's. I would but I'll be busy having a heart attack.

Tell them to bring the defibrillator. Please and thank you.

SDComics thanks for reminding us about the great volunteer opportunities at the con.

I DID get the 4 day ticket to 2026 SDCC with my adult son today! First time getting a ticket since 2023I This old man was literally shaking at checkout then sobbing with joy when I took a screen shot to send him. I took my boys when they were kids, but now that they live on the east coast I’m so glad I
get to share this time with one of them!

And Swordsman like Magus can be released a second time as variants! “Spirit” Swordsman” and FA Adam Warlock

Heck, they can release a Sworsman repaint with green skin and green outfit as his Cotati replacement. Easiest reuse ever.

If they did a Mantis/Swordsman 2-pack they could just do a green skinned repaint of each of them and make like 25% or 30% of the sets the variant and watch it sell out as idiots like me buy multiples
