Skurge the Executioner BAF Wave

So the Skurge BAF piece came in the mail today. I now have the Executioner's good right arm. I am currently waiting patiently (kind of patiently) for BBTS to ship the rest of the wave.

Well I finally had some time to open this wave. Been awhile since I’ve bought most of any kind of wave. Skipped WW ll Wolverine since he has no baf pieces.
Starting with my least anticipated figure and ending with my most desired figure.

Mysterium Iron Man
He’s ok. Mostly what I expect from an Iron Man figure these days. I have no connection to this armor and think it’s one of the ugliest deco’s he’s ever had. No idea what the extra 2 red pieces are for?!?

Six-armed Black Spider-man
This guy is another character I have no connection to at all. He’s way better than the last six-armed figure they made, but he’s just meh.

Warbow
Overall this is a cool looking figure. I like these goofy outlier figures once and awhile. But my main problem with him is he isn’t really a Marvel Legend to me. Maybe a Hasbro Legend but not Marvel. He reminds me of when we got Kamandi in the Mattel DCUC line because he was a favorite of Toy Guru. Someone on the Legends line loves Crystar. So here we are with Warbow. Sure wish someone on the team loved classic Mandarin, Mantis, Swordsman, and Man-ape.

Enchantress
I love this character. Amora looks great and has a beautiful head sculpt. But the neck peg is fixed and her beautiful hair doesn’t allow for much movement. She also suffers from high heels syndrome. I really wish female Legends characters would just get the flat shoes. The end of high heels on Legends can’t come too soon!

Werewolf by Night
One of the two characters I really wanted. Yeah he’s on an older body, has a goofy knee fur piece, and was the clear budget figure in the wave, but this guy rocks!
I love that I finally have a classic monster in the Hasbro line. I also liked the modern Dracula we got earlier. But bring on more classic monsters! Frankensteins monster or Dracula next please.

Phantom Rider
We finally have a Marvel western character in the line😎. Love him! Great head sculpt, holster, and six-shooters. The only thing that would make him better is if they made his horse. So make a horse already!!! Plus now that the holster and guns are sculpted, time to make Rawhide Kid, Two-Gun Kid, and Kid Colt. 😁

Skurge the Executioner
The only one in my top 10 Hasbro made this year. Thus the necessity to purchase the majority of the wave. Love him. I don’t mind the purple. He looks just like I hoped he would. Pumped to finally get him. More classic villains please! Mandarin, Attuma, M’Baku, and Wizard next. Bring on the Bad Guys wave 2 😛

Those are arm cannons that can be swapped into Iron Man’s gauntlets. In the comics, the cannons can pop out. They are very powerful, and Iron Man uses them to take out Sentinels.

This is a constant frustration of mine, too. Emma is the only high-heeled character in my collection, and one is more than enough.

If they're going to sell figures with heels, they should all come with those clear circular foot stands.

THIS is the solution - not character- and costume-inaccurate flats.

Also, make the heels themselves flat on the bottom and a slightly exaggerated heel on the back. It's really not that hard.

I'm pretty sure the legs are new, and I've been wanting them to do a tattered pants sculpt for a long time. The lower shins and feet are swappable so that means the pants can be reused for Vermin, classic Caliban, Tatterdemalion, Bruce Banner, Morpheus, and probably a lot of other characters
