NECA - General Thread

Came across the Haulathon shipper this morning. Picked up groom Beetlejuice, ‘toon Shredder, and my most anticipated figure of maybe my whole life, PEE-WEE HERMAN!
 
Here's all the Haulathon stuff. Popping up in stores now and I think available online on Friday mornings beginning on April 11th.

The only TMNT stuff I saw was toon Shredder, Mirage Shredder, Leo the Hunter, Dark Leo, and the toon 2pk with the Freddy and Death parodies. The Mirage B&W stuff, April, Assassin, Old Man Raph, 4pk, toon Panda Khan, Tattoo/Wyrm 2pk were not yet available.

The likeness is better in person than in pictures. A detail I like is how dainty all his hands look. He is pretty thin in general, but poses and balances well. He comes with Pteri, but these Super7 reAction figures scale well with him! (Chairry, Conkey, and Captain Carl obviously don’t.) I wish he came with a bunch of other things. He has two alternate heads, three pairs of hands, and two secret words on paper (Ultimate, and NECA). The package has a die cut door like the one from the playhouse, but it’s taped shut so you can’t see the accessories or examine paint on the other heads. Mine had weird hairlines. Anyway, I wish he came with Jambi and alternate platform shoes for his Tequila dance, even though I know this isn’t him from Big Adventure. It’s just such an iconic look. That said, I still need to pinch myself. I can’t believe I have this character on my shelf.

I still display my 80's Pee Wee characters. When I was moving my Playhouse was in my garage for a good while and got wet and destroyed. I'd love to go multiple characters deeper. All the human characters and bigger ones like Chairy and Konky could come with a smaller character like Randy, Billy Balooney, etc.
 
I hope the Pee Wee figure does well enough that Neca is encouraged to do that and then those do well enough that maybe they get crazy enough to release a playhouse diorama for all of it but I shudder thinking about what that might cost in the post-tariff times when the TMNT sewer dioramas cost what they did before.
 
Thanks to a tip from Boy Wonder, I found a Haulathon shipper early on. I was tempted to load up, but having FINALLY just pulled the trigger on a new car, I decided to try to be responsible & just picked up Michael Myers. I'm honestly really impressed by how much work they put into a less loved sequel. FANTASTIC array of accessories.

Preternia is reporting that this was revealed through a Walmart listing. However when I go to the listing it is for a part 6 Jason and I don't see the pics, so who knows.

Preternia is pretty spot on with reporting news so we will see.

I mean, it'd be a hell of a mockup if it were fake. I don't know how people find these listings, but they're usually correct.
 
I saw the Walmart listing while the pictures were still up. It definitely looks legit, I can't imagine how some custom or fake could possibly make it to a retail listing like that. And she looks great! Can't wait to add to my horror shelf.
