Ditto. This is my favorite Turtles line but I've mostly given up on actually collecting it.Blah, my Canadian hellscape.

Definitely depends on where you live. Here in Edmonton we just don't really get much of anything. EB Games only gets the Mirage/Ronin stuff. Walmart has the Ronin stuff as well. But only TRU carries the toon line and TRU Canada is a fucking insult to toy collectors -and- children because they don't actually stock anything (not to mention their prices are like 25-40% higher than everywhere else). Is it that the Toon line is just more popular than Ronin and Mirage, or are we just getting those and much less toon? Archie seems... Kind of balanced. Like the dudes I expect to not be popular are easy to find, and of course the ones that are marquee characters are ghosts.
I've been thinking about asking for some help grabbing a few things. It really is a problem of 'IS that better than going without?' Because the pricing is pretty fuckin' yikes when you think about it.He hasn't been as plentiful as some of the other sets, but I still see PK here & there.
I'm sure someone here would be willing to help you guys out. I know shipping to Canada sucks, but better than going without?
...at least...free healthcare...blah blah blah?I've been thinking about asking for some help grabbing a few things. It really is a problem of 'IS that better than going without?' Because the pricing is pretty fuckin' yikes when you think about it.
Assuming 15 bucks in shipping on a 35 dollar action figure = 50 dollars, with a crappy exchange rate = ~70 dollars Canadian. Plus, potentially, an import fee of another 5 bucks or so.
Do I like Panda Khan enough to pay potentially 70-75 dollars for him? I mean... I don't think I do. It's not a HARD no for me, just yet. But I definitely haven't been able to pull the trigger either.
Honestly, I'd probably be dead or worse if I had still been in the US given how they handle some things. Spoken as a former nurse....at least...free healthcare...blah blah blah?![]()
Oh, I know. I was just chattin'. : )Oh, I wasn't mocking it. I'm quite jealous, especially being on the Autism Spectrum and being physically disabled. My quality of life would be DRASTICALLY (and positively) different up there.
I was more making fun of the platitudes that Americans are always using for why Canada is better (and again - not disagreeing with that, either, especially with The Fourth Reich gaining power down here).
Toy Shiz posted a video yesterday that's an overview of NECA's offerings. It's just voice over the solicitation images we've already seen, but it did include the price for everything and confirmed that this set is $150. I'm surprised they held at the standard retail price. However, that's a pretty big box it's packaged in so who knows what the shipping charge will be? They seem to have ditched the flat rate option.I love how at no point has Neca thought "hey we should let our valued customers know what the price is going to be on this SDCC set". Instead we just have to find out in the 3 microseconds we have to make a decision and order it before it sells out.
