Mini Comic Wave 2

I guess I'm in the minority with my humble ML order of Rachel, Feral and Iceman. That's about all the ML I've gotten in several months.

(I don't use "humble" lightly because I hate when collectors use the word ironically when saying things like, "My humble score from the past weekend", and then show a picture of several hundred dollars worth of action figures.)

I’m only getting Silver Surfer and Gray Widow. Took a long hard look at what I really wanted and would display, and none of the others made the cut at $27.99.

I just grabbed Rachel, Feral and Beast so I get it.

There is a monthly pick up thread on a video game forum I frequent. It's a fun commentary on classism and consumerism when people post sports cars, whole entertainment systems, and thousands in rare retro games as their weekly pick ups, and then someone else posts the PS4 game they waited six years to go under $15 bucks on disc.

Well I got my email notice that Iceman was processing soon, but now I seen he's pushed back until January. Same with Rachel and Feral. I don't know how they decide who gets what shipments first, but darned if I wasn't right on top of preordering Rachel and Feral. Not a big deal at all, just something I've always wondered about. Saving an extra $90 for another two months is fine with me.

Got ship notice from Pulse for Beast and Rachel. Ordered Beast, Widow, and Surfer from DeepDiscount as well, but I'm sure I've got other POs coming from both Pulse and Amazon. I did want multiples of Beast and Rachel.

I always say I’m not in a rush but then I see in stock elsewhere when my Amazon order still says late December and I start getting antsy. Though for all I know I’ll post this and go check my email to find out the whole wave shipped at lunch.

Oooooh hoo Amazon is TEASING me with these figures. Got an email that Daredevil had been moved up but he's still in December. I wonder if this wave will drop from them like some of the Joes have this week, just jumping the queue and being shipped out the door without warning.

I have Beast and Rachel on the way from Pulse too. Looks like the other characters I have ordered from the Wave, Surfer, Widow, and Feral, could all potentially ship tomorrow.

When they all arrived at EE, I took advantage of their sale on in-stock stuff. Right after buying from EE and cancelling all my Amazon orders, it's showing up everywhere. So, of course, since EE uses FedExSlow, I'll be lucky to have it before Thanksgiving. My LCS had WBN this AM (but only WBN). Will have to keep telling myself I saved a bunch of $$ as I jealously read about everone else getting theirs.

-sigh-

EE is SOOOOO SLLOOOOWWWW to ship. They took four days to finally ship an in-stock order last time. Thankfully, it arrived I think the next day because it's close but soo frustrating. I do everything to not pay shipping but the cheapest shipping option they did offer was $69. That's insane.

I don't buy from EE often, but their shipping really is hilariously slow even if you're paying full price for it. I got one of the Jada Street Fighter variants last month and I swear when the box showed up I'd forgotten it even shipped. I mean, SURPRISE! New figure! But still, I think it was en route for three weeks.

I've bought a lot from in the past but have moved sharply away from them. Not bad experiences, necessarily - I just like the communication and ability to manage my pre-orders better at Amazon and BBTS. They are slow to ship and require the buyer to pay shipping costs for any returns (which I don't do often). I'd do business with them again, but they're just not my preferred location anymore.
