Mini Comic Wave 2

I got Feral, Rachel and Silver Surfer. I don't even like the Silver Surfer as a character much but this seemed like the definitive one to check that box for me. Rachel is decent. The skimping on the hands proves to me that Hasbro will stoop to any lengths to avoid having to spend a few pennies. This Rachel's staying a hound, as the suit necessitates. The normal head will go on a Phoenix body. Makes me need an Ahab a bit more to pose her next to. Feral is the least posable I'd say with virtually no forward torso tilt and plenty of backwards tilt to show that giant gap in her chest when craning back. She suffers from lollipop neck as well. Not a huge Feral fan to begin with but this is my one-and-done contribution to the X-Force team as I doubt I'll ever buy another iteration of her.

Overall I like the Silver Surfer the best solely on looks and some borrowed effects pieces that we all have in ample reserve makes him just about perfect aside from the gappy Sunfire-like shoulders.

Probably only looking to pick up jogging suit Daredevil on discount from the remainder of the wave. On to the next toy expenditure.
 
The Amazon preorder timeline on this wave is legit making me laugh. I keep expecting them to all ship at once but instead I'm getting notifications that Feral has moved up by ONE DAY. Tis okay, Amazon, you could have left the date the same, I'm not that worried...

Your assessment is a downer. First off, you must not have been paying attention because there is ample proof that Hasbro will go to any lengths to avoid having to spend a few pennies WELL before Rachel's hands :).
I'm only getting Feral to complete a team....I don't really care that much about her, and this hobby is too expensive to keep that mentality. She already had a strike against her when they chose NOT to give her the sculpted fur buck that they ALREADY HAVE MADE, but hearing about her bad articulation and her lollypop neck is too bad.
I want to get a Hasbro Silver Surfer but I don't like the Sunfire buck and them reissuing it to us again, not once, but TWO times makes me think another shot as SS will not be forthcoming any time soon.
 
Got in DD. Decent figure! Maybe a smidge bulky (I got him and Iron Man the same time, and he is taller and thicker than him) but he moves really well and looks cool, for a very simple figure. Overall im pleased :)
 
My Feral and Rachel haven't hit my POL yet. The waiting game continues...it's okay though....I'm good holding on to my money for the moment.

What's more is besides the lack of sculpted fur, the tail is her most notable accessory. Yes, you get to install it. Yes it has barely any texture to denote fur either. I think she would have at least been more eye-popping in the pink Mortal Kombat hooker outfit than the purple one.

Rachel's not awful, just unremarkable to me as a mostly X-fan when I end up liking a character from Marvel that I care as little about as Silver Surfer and end up liking him the most.

Never buying cat Beast. Wish they'd reissue the retro card one. He's only $130-$150 online Hasbro.

I think they'll get around to it reissuing it. That secondary market price = guaranteed sales for Hasbro, It would probably sell out. Never overpay for a Marvel Legend.
 
He is certainly getting a 97 release, maybe even with the lab coat since he does wear one in the show.
