McFarlane DC Multiverse

Wow. That Jacker...uh, Jack Joker...

Sigh. THAT is going to be impossible to get, isn't it?
Well I don't see a "platinum" tag next to it but yeah, you'll need to be online the moment if goes up to have a shot, most likely.

I'll accept a ball park likeness if everything from the neck down is good. We can all go 3rd party for our Nicholson heads.

Nicholson looks pretty good. Definitely more slender, and while it's a little hard to tell, it seems like they may be reusing the Dark Knight Joker pants yet again, but I suppose it works. This is a case where I ain't gonna look a gift horse in the mouth- just glad to get off-brand Jack Nicholson (Nack Jicholson?). I just really hope he comes with more than just those 2 grip hands.

In terms of pre-ordering him- may the odds be ever in our favors.

I’m equally as thrilled and nervous for that Nicholson Joker. It sucks that McFarlane has made collecting this way, but I just hope I can get it.

As @yojoebro82 mentioned - plenty of 3rd party options for a head sculpt so I could care less about the likeness. They may have had to fudge this one a bit to get it released.

Based on the pants and trenchcoat, it’s on the Heath Ledger and Question body mold. Not perfect for Jack but way better than the skinny suit body they use for Riddler, Two Face, etc.

Not so sure that’s a long coat on Joker. I think I see the cut-in of the jacket and then wide “tails”, which is actually what Jack had in the film, the tails of his tailcoat were wide and broad at the bottom, not the typical “pointed” tails we tend to think of.

The Joker is the only one of those four figures that I don't care about at all. The other 3 are must haves for me and cowboy Vigilante is the top priority. I'm mildly surprised that none are listed as Platinums. Still trying to find Blackfire and Cheetah.

There's just no guarantees. He could very well be a reuse buck priced at $35 with zero accessories. That's the state of the hobby these days. Time will tell. I'm hoping for the best.

Based on the slide and the original rumor, this is a Collectors Edition wave. Unless Jack is some sort of exclusive, he should be able to be preordered. As long as you’re quick on the draw that morning. I’m curious as to what the Platinum might be though.

But the rest of the wave has me over the moon. BoP Black Canary, Freddie Freeman, and Vigilante I. Platinums TBD. Although I’m sure the Black Canary Platinum will be something more traditional. Likely to be GA/SA.

I think you’re right. Looking back at the render images of Sandman, the proportions look much different. Maybe it’s a new mold after all.

I definitely want that Joker, and I'd say I will get Canary as well. Still waiting on Professor Pyg though. Where is that pre order? But all those reveals tonight look good.

Entertainment Earth has cases available for pre-order now that include Blackfire/PurpBatgirl/RedTornado and Cheetah/Extant/Joker.

I jumped on these even though I already have Extant. I didn't want to pay ebay prices for Bkackfire and Cheetah like I have had to for figures like Geo-Force, James Gordon and others.

So Netflix buys WB for 72 billion dollars. How much impact do we think this makes on movies, comics, and yes, merchandise…action figures in particular? What’s next?

The question is will any of the Warner Bros. movies-DC Studios especially-get a theatrical release going forward if the deal survives the regulatory channels? Netflix usually prefers straight to streaming rather than movie theaters. I would hate this especially for DC Studios movies. I still love going to movie theaters to see a movie. It's just not the same for me watching a movie at home for the first time. There are too many distractions. Now a comedy, sure I can wait for home release, I don't mind watching at home. Action movies or big spectacle movies it just isn't the same at home watching them. We shall see what happens.
