Looks like the stegosaurus and spinosaurus went up for preorder at Target but have since sold out. Hopefully they will be plentiful later on because I need that stegosaurus for sure.

They look pretty good. Looks like the stego's mouth doesn't open which is unusual for the line.

It's also worth noting here what I noted on the Fwoosh--Mattel's team for this line has truly innovated with their tail design for the dinos. They started out with bendy-wire tails which at the time I thought was ideal, but they've since moved to ball-jointed segments with a continuous skin over them that has become VERY tight and seamless since their first attempt with it on the brachiosaurus. I love their tails a ton now, and I wish other lines would use it as well. Looks to me as if both of these new dinos use that same tail system that last year's dinos use.

I wish other lines would copy what Mattel has done in this line. I'd prefer that the Four Horsemen Beyithirr dragon used this kind of tail, but eh, they've got so many segments that theirs is probably good too, and the scales hide the segments really well so it may be just as good as the tails on this line now.

Words cannot express how happy I am to see the Spino, and the JP3 version, no less. I definitely want the Rebirth version eventually, but I'm so stoked that JP3 is first. I'll die on the JP3 hill if need be. Stego looks amazing too- 2 of my fav childhood dinos in one wave? Be still my heart!

Got the Allosaurus a couple weeks ago on sale, and it's a purdy one. Glad I waited for the sale, which is probably what I'll do with Stego, and I'll try to do with Spino, but I may have to splurge on that one. I've never had any issues finding the larger dinos in store, so hopefully that won't change now.

Looks like Stygimoloch, Troodon, and the Lost World Tiger Raptors are coming to the Hammond Collection.

They all look pretty good, even if the Raptor mold is still less than perfect. I kinda dig the new packaging too- the colors are really nice, though the figure renders on the box leave a little something to be desired. The Troodon one is just a photoshopped raptor, which is a little embarrassing.

Those look great! Especially the first two. I wasn't familiar with the first two types of dinos but seeing the pictures I think I will need to pick them up.

What I really need is for them to re-release the gallimimus. I'd love to get a few more of those to go with the one I have. He needs a herd.

Not Hammond-related, but I did see a couple of the new basic Rebirth dinos at Target yesterday. Didn't grab any, as my focus is the Hammond Collection, but it's exciting to see new movie-related product out there. Really looking forward to June 1st and all the new releases. Gonna hunt me down a Spino; do we know if the Stegosaurus is slated to be released the same day? I know Target's site says it's coming later in the month, but you never know.

Anyone who's planning on grabbing the story packs but doesn't want the humans? I'm kinda tempted by the single Henry, Zora, and Duncan, especially since it may be a while (if ever) before we see them in the HC, but I don't really want the accompanying dinos. JP stuff is kinda hard to offload, too, since it's so plentiful. Really wish Mattel would just release humans on their own; especially for the Camp Cretaceous/Chaos Theory figures- it's so hard to track down some of the kids.

Found a BUNCH of Tiger Raptors & Troodons, but no Stygies.

Missed the preorders for the Spino & Stego, so I'm hoping they're easy to find. Spino should hit this Sunday.

Still upset I'm missing an Irritator. :cautious:

Would you say you're.... "Irritated" 🤪

Haven't seen the Tigers, Stygies, or Troodons in my neck of the woods, but nice to know they're hitting early. Excited for this Sunday. New toy drops are always a bunch of fun.

I was hesitant to go for the pun myself, but I will happily accept it.

And I'm excited because I have a potential toy sale on Saturday, which will give me the money needed for a Spino, haha. Otherwise I'd be dreading it. Things have been rough financially. 😰

You made it over here!
Hi, Justice!

I just found out this existed, haha

Got street-dated on a Hammond Collection Spino. I knew I would, but I'd kick myself if I didn't try. Spino is bae, after all, and hot diggity dawg did it look purdy in the package. I can be patient a few more days, I suppose.

Always so funny how the employees act like you somehow infiltrated the Target stock room and stole something whenever you get street-dated. It's not worth making a bigger deal over- they're just doing their job, and I'll be damned if I ruin someone's day over a plastic dinosaur, but it always strikes me as so funny. It's about as close as I can come to doing something illegal without actually doing something illegal.

Spinosaurus and Stegosaurus should be plentiful and even go on sale soon, likely when the new movie comes out next month. I know the Spinosaurus is popular with fans, but I've seen some people on Reddit who are rabid for it. And apparently have never purchased a toy before and are completely unaware as to the history of the larger sized Hammond figures being so plentiful in the past.

Been seeing the new smaller Hammonds around. Picked them up and some extra tiger raptors and troodons.

Oh yeah, I'm not necessarily worried they'll be hard to find. Spino may be a bit difficult at first, but I've never had any issues with the larger HC figures. The smaller ones, especially of late, haven't really been popping up like they used to- seen plenty of Ghost, but no baby Triceratops or Scutosaurus. I think for most of us it's less "will I find the thing?" and more "I found the thing and I want it now". 😂 Patience is a virtue that's convenient for me only when the plot calls for it.
