So what do we still need for vintage line completion?

Dragstor
Rotar
Twistoid
Multi-Bot
Stonedar
Gwildor
Blade
Saurod
Two Bad
Laser Light Skeletor
Laser Power He-Man
Hurricane Hordak
Tytus
Megator

What am I missing?

Not currently interested in any of those except Two Bad. No attachment to the rest, but that hasn’t deterred me from now filling gaps in my Classics collection recently. Having them in Origins got me on the hunt for figures like Snout Spout and Extendar.

Really excited for new Cartoon Collection figures. Really hoping for an articulated Swift Wind and even Battle Cat because just Cringer won’t do.

I'm definitely not concerned with the Giants or remaining variants but the rest I will definitely pick up as long as they are still affordable, for however long that may be.

A couple of new preorders just popped up.

That Sketchbook Sy-Klone looks pretty great! Threw in a preorder for him.

Is it showing up swapped for anyone else? The images for Sy-Klone are Skeletor and He-Man and vice versa.

Yes they have it backwards. Who knows what you will really get. Thankfully returns at Target are easy but if you just want one I would consider ordering both just in case.

I think they fixed it.

Skeletor/Mumm-Ra also went up for PO, $30 at Target is a nicer price.

I love these toys but hate how different their paintmasters and renders look. You never know what you're going to get and it's been this way with all MOTU lines for a while. Case in point:

Luckily these things aren't too hard to find at Target, probably even easy to find at half-off clearance ($45 is a steep price). I'm going to assume it's the less-paint version hitting stores, but we'll see.

I have to say I didn't particularly care for Skeletor having those colors on his chest armor. Maybe some lighter shades of purple to highlight but I found the green a bit jarring.

So I received Vultak today and wow was he this purple on the cartoon? The classics figure was much more gray. I don't hate it, just wasn't expecting it.

Could not resist sketchbook Sy-Klone. Love the different head. I'm always a fan of adding figures I can use as new, different characters.

I know I'm a broken record at this point but fucking seriously Hasbro -- finish the vintage line LIKE YOU PROMISED. I'm not buying anything else until you do. And I'm a guy that would otherwise be buying basically anything Origins because I love this line so much. But I've had enough of the disrespecting customers by drip-feeding product and making us pay shipping for every individual item while ignoring the calls from basically all of us to finish the vintage line before this line ends up cancelled or tariffs and "inflation" make this line unaffordable for all but the wealthiest/most dedicated collectors.

I know Mattel isn't here listening but like still.. fuck you guys.

Stumbled on Cartoon Catra, Leech, and Faker at Target this morning. Catra comes with only the small cat form. Her mask is one of the best I've ever seen on a figure, as it can be removed, but it also fits well and is proportionate to her head and allows her eyes to be visible. Great feature. Leech has working suction cup hands and feet, and a rifle that can clip to his arm, but also has a traditional handle that can hinge into the rifle to get out of the way so the clip can work. Didn’t realize the hinge was there and thought it was just careless engineering. Lastly, Faker does come with an alternate angry He-Man head, at least mine did. I’ve read of other people missing the alternate head.

Found these same figures, but this week, they're on sale. So I bought the same three, walked out of the store, walked back into the store and returned them with the original receipt (from the Target app). I would have just gotten a price adjustment, but Target doesn't do this anymore without the actual items in hand. They want us to return them then re-buy them to get the sale price. I had already opened the figures, so returning the same ones wasn't an option. Fortunately, the happened to be in stock again during this sale.
