I’m still gradually filling holes in this line. Even some of the bigger steeds I missed out on. Latest acquisitions include:
Netossa
Octavia
Sorceress
Snout Spout
Extendar
Ninjor
Swiftwind
Panthor

I also picked up Dragstor at a local mom and pop toy shop. They overcharge on just about everything, but this figure was $20. When I saw in Extendar’s bio that they were best friends before Hordak experimented on them, I figured I needed him to go with Extendar.

I started figure collecting with MotUC.

I still love these guys and have them right at the top of one of my shelves. The articulation may be a little dated, but I love how much Matty and Four Horsemen respected this line.

Had a couple more additions this week: Panthor and Battle Cat with He-Man with the toy head sculpt. I have a few other Battle Cat figures, one standard, one armored for 200X, and Battle Lion. But I wanted another, and I never got the alternate toy head for He-Man so that seemed like a good deal. Unfortunately, this BC has really brittle plastic in his torso, and when I tried to tighten his saddle, the ribs practically shattered. I had to puzzle piece it together and glue it back together. Never had Classics Panthor, so this figure is pretty great. But he has a loose left hind leg. Not the worst problem.

I also ordered a Classics Slush Head from Amazon, but the seller sent a Masterverse version. Great figure, but not what I wanted. Not sure what I’ll do because it was a third party seller.

That Battle Cat shattering incident has me concerned and now I don't want to touch mine again. Some of the past QC issues with the line were scary enough.

So, that was Classics Battle Cat that had that breakage issue NORM? If so, that is crazy! I've never heard of that for that particular toy. As Justice said, there were definitely a couple notorious QC issues in MOTU Classics. Like the Green Goddess, who still to this day I will not touch.

But Battle Cat? That is not something I was ready to hear.

Yeah. The plastic in the front torso just seems brittle, at least on that copy. I kept making it worse too, started out as like 2-3 shards I could still piece together, but they were so brittle, they’d break into even more pieces even while glued together. I definitely don’t want to handle it much more so I replaced it into my display and took my original out since that one is still intact. In the display, I won’t be touching it.

Yeah Green Goddess exploding is one thing but I'd probably cry if Battle Cat did.
Right! Green Goddess would be upsetting. But Battle Cat!!?? That would be like losing a child. I would freak the Hell out. Luckily, besides having them loose, I have Battle Cat, Panthor, and Swift Wind still in box as well. Since I did multiple subscriptions in the day, I kept one each of those in reserve.

Multiple Swifties! Last I checked he was so expensive on the aftermarket. I'm paranoid mine is going to yellow with age and end up looking like Arrow but so far he's as white as the day he came out of the factory.

I’m going to humbly disclose what I paid shipped for these rides. Don’t judge.

Battle Cat + He-Man w/ toy head sculpt: 128.12
Panthor: 166.32
Swift Wind: 213.25

Most of the single figures I’ve been getting have been at around $45 on the low end. though I went on a spree of Filmation Classics from Super7 and they averaged at around $100 apiece,

I wish I had been able to get a Battle Cat when they were on deep markdown on Mattycollector. I have one but another would be nice.

More gaps filled:
Mosquitor
Light Hope
Slush Head
Flogg
King Randor (toy version)
Bubble Power She-Ra
Dragon Blast Skeletor
Shadow Weaver

Dragon Blaster Skeletor. MOTU Classics Dragon Blaster Skeletor is one of my all-time favorite toys/action figures. The fact that you have it now NORM, you have no idea how much your life is going to improve as a result of this.

All those other new pickups were great too. But Dragon Blaster.........you just upped your collection and your existence! because it's not just Skeletor you purchased, but his adorable, evil, shitty Dragon. And that Dragon is where the power lies.

All of those are such great figures. I'd imagine they weren't cheap either. Slush Head and Flogg probably weren't too bad price wise. Light Hope is such a cool figure. One that doesn't get talked about enough in my opinion. Excellent new additions.

I think I was paying about 60 on average with that last list.

I'm glad I didn't see your post before getting Dragon Blaster Skeletor, because you really hyped it up. I don't think he's that special at all! The dragon is fine, but I kinda thought it could exist on its own. Pulling him off Skeletor's back leaves a giant peg on hsi back, and the dragon itself is almost completely pre-posed besides the neck. What would really blow me away is an articulated dragon that could look good both on his back and on its own.

You have just killed me. Ripped my heart out and pissed all over it.
