Ghostbusters General Thread

So my Ecto-1 was supposed to be delivered today. As with all HasLabs, they require a signature. I would be at work, so I redirected it to my local Walgreens. Tracking says “out for delivery”, but has updated to “we’re working on getting you a new delivery date” and my Walgreens is now closed. In the past, this same delivery guys has not actually asked for a signature, some HasLabs I’ve just found on my porch despite being home to receive and sign. I didn’t want to chance it this time, and now it’s delayed. Ugh.

I would almost bet it was at Walgreens the whole time. Anytime I've ever had something held there they don't scan it in. No idea why, but it's always there if I call.

I hope so, but also didn’t want to show up there without some kind of confirmation like some schmuck. I’ll stop by tomorrow to see if it was dropped off.

My Walgreens is about 50/50 with scanning it in. For the most part if the FedEx truck shows that it is out for delivery that day then it means Walgreens will have it by the time I get off of work even if it is not saying ready for pick up. To try to avoid looking like a schmuck I normally tell them that FedEx said it was arriving today and ask them if FedEx has already stopped by. On the rare occasion that they look and don’t see it I thank them for looking and chalk it up to FedEx being wrong.

The Walgreens employees got used to seeing me back when I used to buy the Mezco figures. Now I that I rarely get those anymore I doubt anyone there would recognize me.
 
I checked my tracking again this morning and it updated to the package arriving at that Walgreens! So no guess work necessary, just had to show my ID and I picked it up. Will have to wait til the weekend til I can give it the attention it deserves.
 
Mine apparently came last night. I'm traveling for work, so my wife got it and I'll have to wait until the weekend to open it.

For anyone who has it, are there any call-outs about defects or issues?
 
Mine arrived on Saturday and I still haven’t had time to take it all out. I do have Slimer moving around the house though. My wife and youngest daughter are not thrilled about it. My youngest is all into interior design and never thinks my toys fit. She busted me on sticking Snow Job in the middle of my wife’s winter decorations.

I just put mine together today.

I would suggest putting the stickers on BEFORE putting all the pieces on, because you might need to pop a few things back off if you assemble it completely first.

Looking at the white pole while I put it together, it appears it's just a tool for something. One edge is thin with a bent edge, so I assume it's possibly to remove stickers or something, but the instructions are LACKING in firm details.

I'd suggest watching the video I posted above as you assemble and put the stickers on, as he does help quite a bit showing where he put everything.

lol I do not miss that from when I used to collect mezco
 
BBTS let me know Mondo Egon will be processing soon, so I'll then be able to ship my POL with both RGB figures and Batman Returns Penguin, and if i'm lucky that Hiya Previews Godzilla will hit before then as well.
