General Medicom MAFEX

From how they've posed him, I'm guessing John won't have the "Public Enemy" logo on his shirt (NECA didn't either). Still, extremely excited this line is continuing. Hoping they get to Sarah and maybe Kyle Reese.

If I'm being really greedy, I hope they include a black t-shirt T2 torso and a Tech Noir torso and jacket somewhere as a pack-in.

I feel like if they're bothering to do John, they gotta do T2 Sarah and maybe even a Kyle. Surely they gotta!

I will be very disappointed if he doesn't have the PE t-shirt but admittedly not surprised.

If Mafex doesn't have the logo, would be a slam dunk for a 3rd party company to step in and release a torso piece with the logo.

It looks like it might be a two pack.

T-800 to John's left has a black t-shirt. The "regular" T-800 they released has the grey tee from later in the movie.

Man that's gonna be a bummer to have to buy an entire extra T-800 I already own, but I suppose that does make sense to increase sales.

Hope they figure out some new accessories for him, at least. Assuming John would naturally come with the chip and endoskeleton arm, the Cyberdyne T-800 kinda covered everything major (other than missing the black t-shirt option). Blast effects for his guns?

If it is a 2 pack, I might be tempted. I had almost bit on the other T-800 a few times, but never pulled the trigger. This could do it for me.

Yup: two pack, no Public Enemy logo on John's shirt, no new accessories for the T-800. Buying it, of course, but a pretty big bummer.

John only has one head, the T-800 arm, and his backpack. No chip, no hacking kit, and worst of all no other expressions?

T-1000 look pretty sick. Surely they'll do the Motorcycle Cop look from the last third of the movie as well.

$135 for T1000 and $210 for T800/John at BBTS. The toy industry has gone insane.

Whaaaaaat?

105/145 at Hobby Link Japan.
Which are still absurdly high, especially considering shipping will add another $50 on top to the HLJ order. My point wasn't to single out BBTS's pricing as egregious but rather to generally observe that toy companies have gone off the deepend with pricing. It's almost just standard for a company to start at $100 for a single import figure and then see how bold they want to go from there. The Delicious in Dungeon figmas are like $130 from HLJ just because I guess. The really crappy thing is how over the years we've accepted higher prices from smaller boutique outfits on the basis of smaller production scale but now bigger companies like Good Smile and Hasbro see that we'll pay such prices and are increasing their prices with no such scale argument to justify it. It's just a mad dash to pricing out all but the wealthiest collectors, which is of cpurse a global trend of capitalism: increasingly absurd playground for the rich (playact at astronaut! Ski in the desert! Buy Hawaiian islands and build a bunker under your own little cattle ranch!) and for the rest of us accelerating enshittification for higher and higher prices.

I never thought the average high-end 1/12 figure would cost $100. At least, not for a long while. I remember thinking the original Mezco One:12 Collective figures were crazy at $65.

Now we've got 1/12 figures pushing $200. Most 1000toys figures are near that price now. Hell, I paid $135 for a Figma Link this year. I don't plan to make a habit of that, though. I hope they rein it in.
