General Marvel Legends

She-Hulk is tempting in that she has more hands than this mold ever came with, and the head and shirt. But she still looks very...kitbashed. Like, "here's *kinda* the thing!"

BTW, does anyone know how much BBTS usually asks for after the figure is released for "Tariff Surcharge"?

Agree. If it was in one of her actual costumes I probably would've ordered one.

Lizard is way cheaper than I expected. I thought he'd be $60.

Still no interest. I hate that BAF body. I would buy a re-release of the Walmart figure that I never got my hands on, though.
That's not bad at all, same with Nimrod and Strong Guy, which both seemed like fine prices. I'm sure it helps that they're all mostly rereleases.

Yes, but none of those are going to be in a Disney+ TV series next year

For Punisher? Because I have Punisher War Machine on the list, too. That armor had its own miniseries and fought a lot of Avengers and villains. And it would be an easy repaint into a standard War Machine figure. All at the size and price of a regular figure rather than a large one-off mech which has a fraction of the same number of appearances.

I didn't get Red She-Hulk, but I pre ordered Lizard. I already have the BAF, but the newer, brighter colors really pop and I like the new heads. So, like a jackass I pre ordered it. I shouldn't feel too bad though. I have resisted on some of these figures that Hasbro has basically just re-released but with some minor updates.

For $40 and as classic as he looks, I feel like Lizard is a reasonable one to cave on.

Wait. Did I miss something? Is Lizard a Deluxe figure or does he come with a bunch of bonus pack-ins? He's not one of those Magic-the-Cash-Gathering figures is he? I don't understand why he's $40.00.

Fiddling with this old She-Hulk figure to see how it stands up to time and see how it stands up to the newest She-Hulk body sculpt. The newer arms have a much better sculpt, and that's not even getting into the double elbows. The single elbows on the older sculpt function well but the inner elbow has an ugly right angle that sticks out when the arms are bent at 45 degrees. Lower legs are very different too; the old She-Hulk sculpt has pinned knees and no boot swivel, unlike the newer mold. The torso barbell joint has similar articulation.

Now, we need the Cosmic Invasion She-Hulk deluxe maximum edition

Maybe this is something that belongs in its own thread, but: any best practices for keeping older figures from kinda... degrading over time? I was doing a complete Marvel Legends overhaul last night and I gave myself an existential crisis trying to prevent Spider-Men or really any female character from before 2024 from having warped legs if they're either posed or stored wrong. And Genis-Vel, one of those TRULY FUCKING WEIRD random characters I genuinely just love owning, felt almost... brittle? And I took Sasquatch out to put him back on display and his hips felt super loose. Mind, I'm neurotid AF about storage but I feel like even laying them gently on their back in a protective container isn't enough to stop the ravages of time. Should I be oiling big figures' joints, or regularly watering translucent characters? Splinting skinny legs in storage?
