To this day Tales From My Ass is still one of my favorite comic series from the bronze era. I still have a handful of the classics safely archived in my longboxes.
You've gotta admit it was pure genius to have a talking donkey spin fantastic yarns of magic and wonder to a captivated audience of humble coal miners issue after issue.
And to be honest, I've always felt the Crypt Keeper was a blatant two-bit ripoff deserving of a lawsuit.

Also, with the way they do shoulder pads for some of the figures now - especially in SWB - I think they could make that costume detail look way better than the kind of awful system the original figure had. And yeah, I loved that he got his own sculpt as well. But that figure came out ELEVEN years ago, and even when it was new, as you said, it was a little small. And VERY gummy.
It's such a banger of a costume design. Deserves a redo.
 
A new Nova Prime is being added to my MAKE NOW list. I loved the original, but imagine a new one with all of the pinless and design advancements.

I'm trying so hard to convince myself that they WILL make Gamerverse Punisher in classic colors and that I should stop being a little bitch and just WAIT. I don't need to spend 80 Canadian or whatever on a two-pack. I don't.

No, this won't end up being THAT Punisher. But, until we get THAT Punisher, this is the closest thing. They wouldn't make the perfect Punisher body, and then make us wait more than a year for the perfect black/white classic release... would they?

They haven't really hit a home run with Blade, which is crazy. The proximity to the last Blade and Dr. VooDoo might mean a little wait - plus I think the Strange Tales wave kinda peg warmed? Classic Blade would be so easy to do though. Agreed.
 
It didn't seem to sell great, which has me nervous they'll use it as a scapegoat not to do more horror characters ... even though very little of what was in that wave was what the Marvel Horror cheerleaders (self included) were asking for. Sorta like the Avengers 60th stuff.

Given my tastes, I was actually stunned that they managed to make a supernatural/ horror wave where NONE of the figures appealed to me. I ended up picking up Helstrom at Ross over the summer because I hadn't bought a figure in months and he was six bucks.
 
@Beamish - I think we have our next Poll - In an all Costume Re-Release wave, who do you already own that you would happily replace in the same look but updated/corrected?

I have the 'modern' Blastaar, but a classic is necessary.

I have also felt that the Young Avengers need to be re-done... they just aren't very prominent anymore. Which costumes would they do? Obviously Wiccan and Speed will be...

Smart Hulk is another one I forgot to add.

I also have the Unlimited RESCUE, and it was a grail, but it needs a re-do that everyone has the change to pick up.

Good list.
