Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Just got two more armory knights - heroic red and red leather. I'm trying to decide which heads to go on which bodies now though. I bought the reds to pop the black jaguar head and tail on one, and I want to use the unarmored Atilla head on the other (so I can use Atilla in his full armored glory on his actual body).

But now I'm rethinking which color palettes would swap the best. I've got the blue Atilla repaint from Cosmic Legions on the black leather knight and Gawrychh's painted cat face on a brown leather armor; and I stuck the extra Xylernian Guard head on a gunmetal armor body (that one just looks PERFECT as a half-elven knight so I think that'd stick). I also have an extre bearded red orc head kicking around.

Wondering if the black jaguar would look cooler with the red armor to contrast or black armor to match; if Atilla would look like he's undercover in the brown or red leather body (?); if the face-painted cat head would look better with red armor to match the paint or stick with brown; or if a red orc head would look best on red armor or too monochromatic. (I think the blue Atilla head works as a half-shadow elf on the black or brown leather armor for sure.)

What exactly is this Infinite Legions thing that they are livestreaming about on Friday?
Basically, it's gonna be 4H's take on characters from other properties. First up is Glyos' Pheyden.

This is a 4H response from an IG question — "these are built using the LEGIONS Build System. The whole point of Infinite Legions is to bring outside characters into our system and create toys that are Legions-compatible!"

They also pointed out their Pheyden will not be Glyos compatible, just 4H compatible.

If anything, it'll be interesting to see 4H's version of this:

Anyone know if the knight hands from the Necronominus wave work on some of the older wrists? I got the the two legion-builder templars (the white on black and black on white) RIDICULOUSLY cheaply on eBay yesterday and I'm pretty sure they've got the old hands, thinking I might splurge and get the newer hands to swap in for more dynamic posing/grips.

Having massive decision paralysis about which heads to pop onto which bodies right now. I just moved the blue Cosmic Legions Atilla head from the black leather armory knight to the brown and he looks pretty slick, popped the black panther head onto the black leather armor and he looks AMAZING, but I'm ping-ponging still on who to put on a couple of red knights (leather and heroic). I tried the bearded fury orc head but I think it's TOO much read. Weirdly, Atilla's head bobbles around on those bodies a bit. Might need to use his flesh-tone neck from the two pack to make it really work.

@docsilence The new hands work on the old 1.0 wrists. I bought the same hand pack and distributed them among my skellies. If you're having a hard time getting Atilla's head to stick on a neck, sticking a bit of putty or tack in the socket will do the trick without permanently modifying anything.

Thanks! The old hand are... okay, but the jump forward in the sculpts on the new hands is such a vast improvement.

Got plenty of blue tack kicking around to fix the bobbling issue with, but I may test out the neck part he came with to see if it looks okay once I figure out which armor he looks best in. Regret not getting two of the black or brown leather knights, or a second gunmetal.

Added a set of the graveyard skeletons onto a POL shipment at the suggestion of a few folks. These are really cool, as simple as they are. Can't wait to have a whole range of characters fighting undead swarms with these.

I like the Graveyard Skeletons 4pk. Just wish they had been the new default bone color for maximum swappability. And the single-release skeleton builder (which sold out way too fast) should have been the graveyard color since it's more standalone. There will be another Graveyard release this fall. Not sure what it'll be. Maybe a zombie?

I saw that they had an insert to come back this fall for more Graveyard stuff. Zombies sounds like a safe bet. Totally agree I wish they were compatible with the others, but the gray is SO striking. I wish I had a grayscale headless horseman body for the pumpkin head.

I'm still mad I missed out on that single skeleton builder, moreso because I expected them to re-release it at some point. King of nuts that they haven't. I think I have some figures ordered from the latest wave of stuff shipping...just haven't heard anything about it. I know they were having issues with the tariffs and containers though.

The All-In orders for All Stars 6 have been shipped out to customers, but for the folks who ordered just a few figures from that wave, those orders are supposed to arrive at the 4H warehouse sometime in early July.

You may get lucky. They actually received a bit more figures than all-in orders from the first shipment and a few of the partial orders are starting to ship.

I received a shipping notice yesterday for the undead head pack, Sir Enoch and Berodach. Which was a very pleasant surprise.

It made up for driving a few hours to the Maryland Toy Expo and missing out on the Legendary Barbarian by a half hour or so. (He was gone by 8:45 a.m. — doors opened for early bird ticket holders at 8). Edit: I should say I got some other great stuff, including a Kalizirr which I've been wanting to pick up for a while now, and I'm fine waiting on the barbarian. More importantly, my daughters were able to go to a Wawa and Raising Cane's while were in the area for the day, so it was a great experience for all ...

I'm trying not to buy older figures anymore, and particularly trying not to spend too much on them, but one of the figures I missed and regretted was Hadriana. Got a good deal on a used one yesterday. might be the last older figure I pick up for a while.

Has anyone had bad luck with pant scraping off hands with the newer figures? I've had a few where the paint scrapped right off down to the base plastic just sliding a sword into their hands lately, never happened with previous figures.

That's the great thing about going to an event with 4H — most of the stuff they have available is the same price it was during the preorders, in my experience anyway. Kalizirr was $50, with no tax or shipping ...

Haven't noticed any paint issues but I usually get them into a pose I like early on and leave them that way. Unless it's a skeleton, I can't ever stop messing with those.

I have noticed this on the Knights.

Finally got around to opening my Necronominus wave (I wanted to do it on camera - vid coming sometime in the future - anyone have an .edu e-mail I could borrow to get a student discount on Adobe? 🥺)!

(Wal-Torr wasn't part of it, but I utilized some of the hands & feet from that kit on him for the video)

Also, the first time I put batteries in the Bone Throne!

The Turpiculi is my absolute favorite. (Anyone know how to pronounce it? 😅)

Now I just need War...Famine...and Pestilence...*sigh*...
