I love the hammer on his back detail. I agree that I found it a little goofy in the comic at first, but I eventually came to like it and it's the exact kind of attention to detail I like to see in my figures.

The tail spikes on the new Death Adder are so much spikier and more comic accurate than the old one! You're a damn fool!

The only thing I could see the original having over the new one is the darker blues. Everything else about that figure sucks on its own, much less when compared to a much improved version. You can't even remove his tentacles!

Seems to me like this Magik figure (with a normal arm) easily gets us Karma, human Wolfsbane, and Shadowcat in her training uniform. I'd want to see Magma and Dani on a taller body, and Dani with her custom uniform flourishes (the boots and belt).

I posted in the other thread that I like Magik's yellows better - so to me, it doesn't seem like they match. Obviously we won't know til we have them in hand.

I agree that Volcana makes perfect sense to be in a Secret Wars wave, but it's not thematic fit that's holding her back.
