I much prefer a themed BAF wave. These more mixed theme BAF waves have been brutal for me. Even a looser theme works for me. I LOVED the Controller BAF wave example, but this Skurge wave is tough.

Not me.. this armor is UGLY and the figure seems like a step back from other recent Iron Man armors from the articulation standpoint. Please don't check my Amazon order history though.

I agree! I just wasn't a big fan of this armor when it debuted and haven't warmed up to it since. I like certain elements, but I dislike the gauntlets, shoulders, and the squared off faceplate at the top is just brutal. Too many chunks of metal awkwardly plopped on top of others. It doesn't...

I think it depends on deco there.. The original Puff Adder Wave version with the more maroon red definitely felt like a matte would be more appropriate. I think the brighter red can go either way.
