General Marvel Legends

Yeah I think you’re right. Still such a weird choice. I don’t dislike it. But the armor barely lasted a couple of panels.

If you are going to make an all new armored sculpt, there are some other options like…

Titanium Man
Crimson Dynamo
Firepower
Punisher War Machine
Force
Sunturion
Dreadnaught robots

Yes, but none of those are going to be in a Disney+ TV series next year

Crystal ball here, the Punisher Mech is going to be very expensive at launch, and in 2 or so years, will be dirt cheap as retailers try to shift stock.

It’s one of those ones I’m utterly relaxed about not owning, but will probably end up getting anyway because why the hell not for peanuts. It’s why I have Elvis MODOK chilling in a crate after I bought the set for the Captain, at less than single figure price.

I will definitely need Red She-Hulk and I want the Lizard. I had the BAF Lizard but sold it off because I didn't like the head on it and the retro carded one was coming out. This one will look great with Maximum Spider-Man. I'll pass on Andrew Spidey has I don't buy MCU anymore.

Assuming it's a Made to Order figure, it might end up being the opposite. I'm always surprised by how popular Punisher is and how well his figures do - pair that with a big mean looking robot and this thing might be a pretty smart business move on Hasbro, even if it is infinitely less exciting than Firepower, Titanium Man, or some other way cooler big robot character.

Dwight continually mentioning that "no one" has guessed the character after three conventions of teasing begs the question: if fans - fans who are invested enough to pay to attend conventions and spend time at the booth - can't guess who the character/figure is, WHY is that character getting a figure AT ALL?

Aaaaanywho. Interesting reveal on NWH Andrew Spidey; wonder what changed rights-wise, and if that means we can also get redos of Gobby and Ock for the Raimi trilogy. Don't think I ever thought we'd get an updated one. I kinda like the darker blue on him, honestly, so I don't know how needed this one feels. Maybe if they ever go back and do a blue Foxx Electro and a DeHaan Goblin.
I think the rights issues only involved Garfield's likeness. The three-pack was all branded NWH without it, and now this one can be the same. I think Hasbro actually went to bat for the fans on the solo NWH release to get us that likeness from ASM2, since it's the only one that was approved.

I don't know how I feel about them reusing that ripped jeans She-Hulk body, but it's hard to pass on a She-Hulk. Still, I'd rather buy one like the ROML Red She-Hulk version in the purple and black suit on the newer body.

This one they're making would look cooler with shoes.

Ahh man, she would look better with shoes. The belt strapped across the chest is such an interesting look - makes me wonder what that outfit looked like before it got Hulked. :)

Passing on Red She-Hulk after all. The following facts remain:

1) She’s outside the time I give a shit about.

2) Hasbro has officially priced me out of impulse buys or characters I don’t give a crap about. Those days are done.

It’s a very nice figure, and I always liked that body mold. I just don’t NEED it.

Opened my Rachel and yep, that's what I wanted. I'd like double fist hands, but I can live with this. I'm slightly, SLIGHTLY tempted to hit her with some gloss clear coat because I always imagined this costume as being shiny. She's good though. Now it's time to get some mileage out of my tamashii flame effects.

Hope Hasbro takes the right lesson from this: classic / iconic versions of major heroes and villains (especially Webhead's rogue's gallery) sell like hotcakes consistently. Keeping a version of them in circulation wouldn't be the worst thing for the health of the line, it ensures new collectors have access to centerpiece characters for their budding shelves.

She-Hulk is tempting in that she has more hands than this mold ever came with, and the head and shirt. But she still looks very...kitbashed. Like, "here's *kinda* the thing!"

But $28 is a tough pill to swallow, pretty sure I paid $23 each for grey and green Jens
