General Marvel Legends

My list of ML purchases are tame compared to others:

Maximum Spider-Man (right up there with the Batman Returns wave as being a good release that's not at all worth the asking price but hard nostalgia doomed me to pay up).
97 Cable
97 Emma
D+ Daredevil
D+ Punisher
Gameverse Psylocke--top 10 of the year (Thanos sat on eBay and on FB unmoving at a rock-bottom price, I finally forced him out when I brought a toy lot to my LCS to sell).
ROM
Banshee
Savage Land Rogue (thanks, Xavion)
Mystique
Rachel
Feral
Astonishing Beast

Typing it out, that was more than I thought.

It was Toy Biz Legends, X-Men and Spider-Man Classics, early shitty Hasbro Legends and very redundant releases.

Of those I'd say 95% are out on the shelves. Maybe 90%
 
Looking at that list I am only missing a few Spider-Man (Or Spidey character) releases. Theres a few I intentionally don't have, but the ones I need to try and fork out some $$ for sometime are:

Ultimate Beetle
ASM Electro
Superior Venom
Negative Zone Spider-Man
FFH Spider-Man Stealth Suit (Night Monkey)
FFH Mysterio
Web Man (Which I had and sold coz I'm an idiot.
Homecoming Peter Parker (Which I had and customized, so I need to replace him.)
Knight Spider
Symbiote Spider-Woman
ATSV Black Spot (Need to get around to it, he's still around)

Otherwise I'm doing pretty well! :)
 
Well depending on when Skurge hits the UK, I’ll either be on 18 or 22 Legends for the year, which surprises me as it felt like much more. Add a few Black Series and all of Jada’s SF figs and it still hasn’t been outrageous. I’ve managed to offset that selling some older/rarer stuff too, but not to the extent of a few years back when I managed a 3 year stretch of being ‘toy neutral’ through offloading and taking custom commissions.

Kinda hoping next year’s blitz on MCU stuff pans out so I can have a quiet one, as freelance working has left me watching the pennies in a way I never used to.

It's so crazy to me that more collector lines don't manage their own official checklist/database of all of their releases, or even just partner with one of the dozens of existing services that do it to become the "official" source. It seems like an obvious, easy and inexpensive way to market their lines and get people even more deeply invested. I'd guess the thought is that they don't want to pay for what people are already doing for free, but having a "checklist" absolutely pushes people to buy more, which I would think they'd be all about.
 
Totally agree. I'm surprised Hasbro doesn't partner with one of their many influencers to do this.
BTW - have you guys seen this video "ranking" influencers? Brutal stuff. Noticeably absent is Bobby Vala, since he's probably buddies with a lot of influencers.

I really miss the ever-expanding cross-sell that would appear on the back of a figure box. That's a thing that should have never gone away.

Isn't that the one Vala goes on sometimes? I think I had YouTube no longer recommend 3POA to me because I found them insufferable. This seems like the type of episode they'd do.
