Oh I didn't even notice Lima was sold out. That kinda shocks me. Those usually stick around a bit. I suppose that one did have a lot of action movie favorites. Glad I got one a bit earlier I suppose. I'm basically only grabbing weapon packs from Bobby at this point. Punisher's arsenal is pretty extensive.
 
Hopefully. Of this wave, I only want that weapons pack, and BBTS shipping is at least half Vala's.
 
I really only buy the gun packs too. My punisher armory is gonna be huge.

I think an armory is the first real dio I'm going to get to building, hopefully quite soon. I've got all but the winter weapon sets from Vala along with some other stuff from imports and guys like Super Action Stuff. Once I put it all in a dio it's going to look like the "lots of guns" scene int he Matrix".

I think the reason I don't do that is because if it's something I think a creator can deliver on I'm happy to back early. The last Kick I went for was the Space Zombies one, and I am reasonably sure those guys could have brought that one home if it had funded. Sadly not enough folks hopped on, fair enough. Now I'll probably have to wait for Hasbro to do an astronaut in their Joe line or for BBWS to pick up the Space Zombie stuff for their lines (Arlen sculpts for both and they were already going to offer a blue version of The General using a head that I think is also in one of the Monster Force upcoming lines).
 
I get it. I do back Kickstarters sometimes. The last one was the Armies of Ashmore dino soldiers, and Skeletron ... and there have certaimly been others... but Super7 and 4Horsemen turning the kickstarter style 'fund it first - deliver later' ethic into their entire business model made me wary of letting companies hold my money for years. So more often than not now I go through BBTS to hold on to my own money longer.

I grabbed the winter set cause it has alot of nice looking weapons and I painted most of them black lol. It'd be one of the better sets, if everything wasn't spearmint white and green. But painting them helped.

Yeah, but all of them were in other sets so I had those bases covered. I might've grabbed them if they'd just been white, or white with black accents, would have been a perfect Punisher set, but the minty green just didn't work.

Back in my Army days we used to trade the minty weapons for a candy bar or cheese spread out of our MREs.
 
It's really a bummer that Valaverse doesn't release more packs. Weapons packs, gear packs, etc. My favorite Valaverse pack to this day is still the prototype weapons pack, which was just a huge bag of all-black plastic guns, for a cheap price. The tin being a close second. I often comment that they should do another all-black weapons pack on their insta posts, so if you see someone, it's probably me!

The idea to go all-winter for a year, making each accessory pack, as Jake said, "minty", was just a terrible idea. I get that Bobby doesn't want us to use his Vala stuff with Joes, but he still wants to make money, right? The gunmetal paint used in the Lima weapons pack is nice, but I've passed on a lot of weapon sets because the guns were too colorful, tan, weird shades of green, or white. Make 'em black and I will buy them without a peep and paint them myself.

Yeah, another all black pack would be ideal. I also hope at some point he does one that's just all the suppressed weapons. I suggested that on intsa a little while back. Give us the greatest hits and then add in a couple of new ones. How about the suppressed shotgun from No Country for Old Men (he already lifted the AK from Elysium) or a Welrod for the WWII figures he's got coming up? Maybe for pack Quebec or Sierra. Q for quiet and S for silent/suppressed.
