General Marvel Legends

I presumed the inundation was so Hasbro’s Q4 profits look better for their investors, our wallets and budgets be damned.
Q4 Hasbro be like...

Feels like it’s not uncommon for multiple Hasbro lines to get deluges at the same time, which I assume means a cargo ship carrying laden with various Hasbro lines hit the ports. Someone check the import data and get to the bottom of it!

Also - unless the production numbers really have changed significantly, there’s really no requirement to buy 90% of these figures immediately at release - most of them will be readily available well into 2026. Hasbro’s not in charge of my budget (thank god).

They are in charge of my budget. I have to ask them really nicely when I want to buy something from Mattel but usually they will let me do it as long as I promise to save the bulk of my funds for them.
Same here. Sometimes my cat will meow at me with hungry eyes, and all I can say is "I'm sorry, bud, but you know Daddy is saving for his little plastic people." I said the same thing to my landlord once and he had the gall to threaten me with an eviction notice. Some people, I tell ya.

It's the exact worse time of year for all this to hit, too, given that it's nearly the holidays. I can't justify the Inhumans without it eating into my gift-giving budget.

But FOMO! FOMO!

Also, curious to know which are the 10% that ARE required to be bought immediately :)

Yeah, particularly with legends we really DON'T need to preorder. This time of year feels like when Hasbro hits us with "that set I preordered to ship in January when I'll be depressed and bored but probably could've waited on, but also in the same week that set that had five must-haves I didn't want to wait for."

Personally, I wouldn’t wait on Astonishing Beast. I could see Ai Apaec, Silver Surfer, MFW DD, and Black Widow selling through decently quickly. Probably Fury/Punisher.

Fortunately the things I’m most interested in I don’t think will be a problem to wait on. Rachel and Feral, most of the Skurge wave, the 2-packs (Inhumans, Deathbird/Gladiator, Starfox/Chanpion) Harder to say with exclusives - I wouldn’t be shocked if Extremis/Mandarin sells out even with one figure being underwhelming.

It can be hard to predict. The Dark Reign 3-pack with Iron Patriot sold out fairly fast. As did Giant-Man & Wasp.

Lilandra came in and she's very nice. There was some discussion of Deathbird's physique... and there's a lot of attention to that area on Lilandra as well. I think the design of her outfit accentuates it. Good to have them both on my desk. With Gladiator as well I feel like I'm solid on my space fairing figures.
