General Marvel Legends

Yeah, but I need the Orb of Ra and the Green Bell of Uthool as well. 😉
I will say, I don't think I realized that you'd used the same things that I had for your jar and wheel. I never think any of the custom things I do are worth replicating, so it's legitimately flattering.

My bell is just straight up sculpting putty. I think with the end of a tooth pick sticking out for the handle. If I can do it, anyone can, lol.

A good idea is a good idea. 😉

As for the bell and Orb of Ra, I’m SOL. I’ll just have to live without.

Looks like I’ll be getting an entire quarter’s worth of releases in this next week. Just got the mini comic wave today from BBTS, Amazon has sent half the Skurge wave, the Starfox two-pack comes tomorrow from Hasbro Pulse, and then the rest of the Skurge wave and outstanding two packs are all shipping from Amazon before Thanksgiving.

Honestly, feels like way too much at once. Also, I don’t recall ever getting this much stuff in late November before. Not sure if anyone tracks the release cadence but this feels atypical.

Alright, here's one for the hive-mind here. I've got enough Amazon credit I can grab myself a 2-pack. I could grab Lilandra/Wolverine (and give Deathbird her sister), I could grab Destiny/Rogue (and give Mystique her wife), or I could do Iron Man/Mandarin.

What would y'all do?

Lilandra is cool to go with the new Deathbird. Rogue is in her awesome villainess costume. But Extremis Iron Man (updated) is the best figure in the line.

The number of things that have creepingly sooner shipping dates is outright alarming. I don't REGRET buying them, they're all stuff I WANT, but oh boy. I'm honestly hoping I get lucky and they just stick all the Amazon stuff in one big box that's supposed to be here Sunday or Monday. I think I've got the rest of the Skurge wave, Fury/Punisher, one of the Inhumans packs, and maybe Iceman? At least with Legends I can actually pace opening stuff, I'm never in a "rip the box open voraciously" mood anymore, so I can parse it out from now to Thanksgiving if they all show up at once, scope out a couple of figures a day.

I still may pick up that 2-pack, as the Extremis armor does feel sort of like the modern standard Iron Man, but I'll wait until I've got some more Amazon credit to burn. It doesn't seem like it's going too fast. I don't have enough attachment to classic Mandarin to mind this version, and he'll mix well with the group of suited criminal types I've sort of accidentally amassed this year.

I hate to say it but the most joy I'm getting out of that two pack is the head swap Peter Wisdom. That figure just keeps popping up in innappropriate places in my display annoying people.

(The Iron Man truly is top tier. I'm just weird.)

Looking back, I wish Lilandra hadn't shipped during another mass Legends dumping when a billion things shipped at once, cos she's a beautiful figure. I didn't appreciate the craftsmanship enough at the time.

I'll get to mess with her tomorrow. Deathbird's been on my desk for a bit now and it'll be nice to have another Shi'ar around.

Some speculation as it is interesting things are coming out sooner than expected. I wonder if it is a sign that the production numbers per figure are dropping. Maybe to the point where they used to have 6 or 8 production blocks but they are down to 3 or 4? If they are allotted X number of factory days and Y number of containers for shipping and Z amount of warehouse/trucking space, maybe the same amount that would have covered production for 10 figures in the past now covers 20? So more of a deluge in terms of items...
