Marvel Legends Gamerverse

I am curious what games from the past could really be.

While they aren't branded, this year's offerings not Insomniac were Capcom in intent.

We have the fighters, but they did go with Punisher. Maybe the SNES game (gets you a Beast and the blue team usuals.). My non Capcom childhood would include the Genesis X-Men and that awesome Spidey arcade game with classic Felicia and Hawkeye. The Avengers game. The trash like Adamantium Rage and Arcade's revenge.

I feel like the rest of Capcom and the Arcade Game is where the money and easy wins would be, though.
 
Sticking with the 80s and 90s games is kinda funny to me in theory, since most of those releases would just be figures we already have rereleased with maybe slightly different colors. Granted, the Capcom ones are also basically this, but unlike the rest, they had the opportunity to have bring the unique art style to all the headsculpts in the subline. And then they just didn't take that opportunity.

If we dip into PS2 and PS3 though... I'd be curious to see some of the unique designs from the Spidey games. Black Cat from Spider-Man 2 is a great design, and her Web of Shadows symbiote design would also be cool to see. Shattered Dimensions could give us a new Spider-Man Noir. Shriek from Spider-Man 3 has a killer design. Figures from Rise of the Imperfects would be absolutely insane and the coolest thing to see for me personally.

Contest of Champions, Future Fight, etc I'm not sure I want more figures from as a subline, mostly because most of the designs in those are just the comic designs but with dull colors or uglier costume details.

Weren’t most of the early Marvel games on the SNES, Genesis, Game Gear and even the gameboy published by LJN? As far as I’m aware there are only two games that are only two titles that were published by Capcom but they’re from the pre MvC Capcom era, and they are X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse and Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems.

Need me that MvC sentinel. Could use the line to give us a new Magneto (I know I'm harping on about this...) or Rogue as well.

The Beta they released is so ho-hum on the costume. I still like classic or the gladiator style one better than the Cosmic invasion one, but Cosmic Invasion is simplified enough it's probably more likely to work with reuse. I'd take that one, for sure. Annihilus has to be coming. He's just got to be. I know basically nothing about Phyla, but her costume is dope and she seems to have a big space sword, and those are the keys to my heart.

I'd go for stuff from either of the Genesis X-men games. I suppose this might also include the Maximum Carnage game as well. Surely there's some folks in there we haven't gotten yet.
 
I want a Punisher figure from that epic gory ass Punisher game that came out on XBox years ago, voiced by Thomas Jane, riding off the coattails of the movie. Jigsaw in Iron Man armor and a somewhat game stylized Frank would be cool af. Give me a table saw to "interrogate" someone lol.

Yes, X-Men legends 1 & 2 were centered around the Ultimate X-Men. I think I still have one of those games on the GameCube but I never played around with it too much.
