McFarlane DC Multiverse

So I was updating my list of figures that I need to buy and noticed that all of the rumors from October have been shown. This includes the upcoming preorders for Brandon Routh & Henry Cavill as well as upcoming figures like Black Condor, Larfleeze, Gangbuster & Shazam.

Oh shoot - I thought the new Black Manta and Lex figures were updated regular releases. I really want a non-over-designed Lex green/purple suit figure.
 
Opened Nicholson Joker, and man, what a fun figure! One of those ones that just makes me happy to look at, let alone play around with. Not perfect- the hair pieces especially don't quiiite sit right, though maybe with a little heat I can get them down a bit more. Still, it's not enough to ruin it for me. He's a ton of fun, and really helps pull the live action display- especially the Burton/Schumacher one- together.
 
Hoping the Supergirl sculpt looks better in hand. Kara, Lobo and Krem will probably be my last (or very close to last) Multiverse figures at this point. Still hoping Todd may surprise us with an Lanterns wave but it's looking very doubtful.
 
Did a little hunting today in search of a Platinum Black Canary. No luck. But I saw three standard Lobos at GameStop. No other figures or variants from the wave. Not sure how they’re packing these out. But I thought that was weird. Happy hunting!

After three "your payment failed" notifications from Gamestop, just got shipping for Joker, just waiting for Canary to ship too. Like everyone else I'm really slowing down on this line, but did end up getting Super Millie too because I liked the trailer. 0% chance we get her sidekick no matter how good to movie is given past movie figure selection, huh.

Doubtful, we never had Mary or Lois and they were equally deuteragonistic.
 
New batch of rumors just dropped. If these are true, I’m definitely in for the absolute figures, as well as the Dan Mora Batman.

So much for my pet conspiracy theory that DC was not letting McFarlane do absolute figures so that Mattel could launch their collector line with them…
